Product Information:

Push the limits of your game with new M2 Irons. TaylorMade’s most technologically advanced distance iron features the first application of Face Slots in M2 irons, which combine with a Speed Pocket to increase flexibility at the boundaries of the face for unrelenting forgiveness and performance. Geocoustic fin badges dampen vibrations and sounds for Tour-preferred harmonics and feel. Fluted Hosels move weight lower for high launch and forgiveness.

Fluted Hosel 2.0 + Face Slots:

Speed Pocket Technology
  • Thinner, wider, six-sided Fluted Hosel 2.0 saves 5g (compared to 3 in the original M2 iron)
  • 2g of discretionary weight repositioned lower in the head for improved perimeter weighting
  • Face Slots help preserve ball speed on shots struck toward the heel or toe for forgiveness
  • Combination of distance and control makes mis-hits better and best strikes extraordinary

Redesigned Speed Pocket + Geocoustic Engineering:

Speed Pocket Technology
  • New thin wall Speed Pocket design increases face flexibility and ball speed
  • Designed to protect ball speed on strikes below face-center while increasing launch and speed
  • Speed Pocket combines with Face Slots to increase flexibility at the boundaries of the face for speed
  • Geocoustic Technology tunes acoustics through geometry to creating more pleasing sound and feel

Additional Features:

  • Constructed to push the limits of design and engineering to maximize distance, height and forgiveness
  • Ultra-thin 1mm top line combines with thin, 1.5mm Max-COR face for launch, distance and consistency

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than Advertised These irons are the best set of irons I've ever played. They are so forgiving that it's almost like cheating! Thin hits or off center contacts travel straight with little loss of distance. I'm 68 and have a 16 handicap. I was having trouble breaking 90 with my old clubs and when I did it was usually in the high 80's. I've now played 5 rounds with the M2's and have broken 85 four times. Today I hit 11 gir's! These irons are the longest, straightest irons I ever owned! Run, don't walk to your neares retailer and get fitted for these clubs, before your golf buddies find out about these secret weapons!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Delivers as promised. WOW I'm a high ball hitter and found these club even higher than normal and they have a better trajectory with no ballooning. They look great when looking down at the head and have a great feel at contact. I find the same to be the case with the hybrids. Can't remember why I went to another brand a few years ago, but glad to be back with Taylormade. Thanks

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Distance Machines w/ strong lofts Good looking, chunky iron with lots of offset. Super strong lofts = 1.5 clubs longer per iron. Solid strong feel on center hits but strange clicky feel/sound on mishits. Dark finish is beautiful and hides topline width. Super easy to launch high but spin can be a little low, especially on long irons.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Longer and Higher I've had the 5-PW graphite M2 irons for about 3 weeks. I was looking for clubs that would be longer and launch higher than my RBZ2 irons. These clubs did the trick from the first shot at the golf shop; they are definitely longer and easily get the ball in the air. I'm still having some problems with club selection, but I expect to resolve them as I gain experience with the clubs. Overall, I am very happy with the M2 irons.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Irons I hit many irons looking for a new set, including Ping, Titelist and other Taylormade irons. These irons hit really well.. When you hit the sweetspot (which is large) They go high, land soft and with great distance. Extremely happy that I purchased these irons..

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They perform as advertised In the spring a box from Taylormade arrived at my doorstep. I opened it and there was a M2 6 iron with a tag that said "If you could hit it higher and further why wouldn't you. Since I was recovering from knee surgery I could not use it but lent it to a few of my buddies. Two of them purchased sets of M2's. So when I was finally able to make a full swing I went to the range and was shocked at the increase in distance and height. I have since joined my friend with a set of M2 irons and a rescue club as well. The clubs have a great feel. Contact is superb and as advertised they go farther and longer. I highly recommend you take the challenge for yourselves!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent distance and ease of hitting I haven't changed irons since 2009 and have always swung Pings since the mid 70s. When I hit these I'm hitting them substantially longer 10-15yds. Yes the loft is much stronger but getting them up in the air is easy. Really like the feel and looks.
