Product Information:

Minimize your misses from the tee with the TaylorMade M4 D-Type Driver. Equipped with 41g of draw-biased weighting, the M4 D-Type features Twist Face Technology to provide corrective face angle on off-center hits in real time for remarkable forgiveness and accuracy across the face. A Hammerhead Sole Slot creates a larger sweet spot for added forgiveness while reducing unwanted spin. The refined Geocoustic sole unlocks next-level feel and sound.

Draw-Biased Design:
  • Two-tone crown cosmetics have been altered to make the face appear more open, resulting in a more closed face at impact
  • 41g of weight has been moved heel-ward – as opposed to the more central location of the standard M4 – to deliver draw bias
  • Draw-biased weighting helps golfers with fade or slicing flight paths achieve greater accuracy

Twist Face Technology:
  • Revolutionary new face curvature with a corrective face angle on off-center hits, engineered to reduce side spin and deliver straighter shots
  • Twist Face provides more loft in the high-toe and less loft in the low-heel to produce more consistent spin where golfers commonly mis-hit

Hammerhead Slot:
  • New sole slot integrated into TaylorMade’s ultimate performance driver further enhances forgiveness across the face
  • The reinforced outer portions of the slot allow for a lighter, more flexible face, resulting in a larger sweet spot
  • The center portion of the slot increases ball speed low on the face and drops unwanted spin for more distance

Additional Features:
  • Draw-biased design engineered to promote straight distance and extreme forgiveness
  • Refined Geocoustic Sole Design enables next-level forgiveness and best-in-class sound on impacts across the face
  • Sunken sole shape and reduced sole volume creates a larger, more forgiving face to elevate overall performance
  • External sound ribs actively manage vibration and pitch to produce exceptional feel at impact
  • 5-layer aerodynamic carbon crown with 9-1-1 skeletal titanium body saves weight to enable even lower CG placement
  • Inverted Cone Technology located in the face raises COR to the legal limit for speed and forgiveness
  • 4°, 12-position Aluminum Loft Sleeve allows golfers to customize face angle, loft and lie preference
  • Tour-tested internal acoustic management techniques control vibration and pitch at the time of impact
  • Sleek, contrasting crown and leading edge enable accurate alignment at the address position
  • TM Dual Feel 360 Grip
  • Headcovers NOT included

Rated 5 out of 5 by from From slice to straight instantly I spent a lifetime playing the power fade and the giant slice two or more times a round. This club is absolutely amazing. From the start it was straight and long. It takes no particular skill to hit it well. Just swing the club and it does the rest. of my 14 drives today 10 straight and long. 4 times I absolutely miss hit the ball and the result was unbelievable. I started looking for the ball in the trees and found it only a few feet off the edge of the fairway in the rough. What was yesterday four shots out of bounds to today; four shots just off the fairway and just a bit shorter than the straight and long ones. I made the biggest single improvement to my golf game in my life by purchasing this club. The coolest thing about this club is setup and swing. The ball goes right where you aim it. All I can say is if you slice the ball off the tee head to (i mean run) to the store and get this club.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! Have hit an older Razor Hawk Draw because I hit a fade to about 190 on my drives. It was a coin flip between the D M4 and the Epic. I hit the Callaway and did"t see much difference from the Razor. There wasn't a demo M4 Draw so going on advice from the golf associate, I bought the M4. I took it to range and wow! Straight as an arrow and longer! Good bye Razor! If you hit a fade you'll be straight with the D type M4. Pay the bucks! It's worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TaylorMade got it right. I got fitted a couple of weeks ago (M4 D-Type Driver) and have played four rounds with it. I'm a 10 handicap normally playing the Callaway Optiforce, and I'm hitting far more fairways off the tee now. My average scores have dropped to 76-77, so investing in a driver has finally paid off. The sound at impact is way better than the M1/M2, and the ball flight is consistent. The only thing I don't like about the M4 is rough finish to the trailing edge of the top of the clubhead. I though it was a manufacturing defect, and went back to the shop to look at others on the rack. All had the same, sharp edge as opposed to a smooth, aero-type finish that most drivers have. I'm still puzzled about this. But the driver never fails to perform as advertised.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Hate it 10 handicap..golf 60 times a year and this club does not do what they say. Lost yardage on drives and now lost 400$ .. does not correct a thing , actually makes it worse for me, complete waste of money and I am stuck with it because it's now "used" . Don't waste your money . Going back to my old driver .

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Too much technology to figure out I returned it for a Ping that suits me better. Also I feel it was too expensive.
