Smooth And Accurate.
I originally purchased the P790s, but after playing Burner 2.0 irons for over 15 years, I was ready to move into more of a players iron. I had my fitter switch my order to the P7CBs, and any concerns I had about forgiveness (or lack thereof) went out the door almost immediately. My only previous experience with the P7CB was a demo 7-iron at Golf Galaxy, and honestly it felt firm and a bit harsh, even on solid strikes. That experience made me nervous that these might be more demanding than I wanted. After hitting my fitted set, that concern is completely gone. The feel is the biggest difference. These irons are smooth and soft through impact, and good strikes don’t feel like work. Even slight mishits give clear feedback without being uncomfortable or punishing. Compared to my old game-improvement irons, the feedback is more informative, not more difficult to deal with. I also didn’t see any meaningful loss of distance. When I strike the ball well, the yardages are right where I expect them to be. When I don’t, the result makes sense — no random flyers or shots that feel good but end up way offline. Dispersion is more predictable, which builds confidence quickly. I would recommend the P7CB to anyone looking to move out of game-improvement irons but who might be intimidated by blades. They don’t feel harder to hit — just more precise. If you can make reasonably consistent contact, these irons are far more approachable than I expected. Specs: • Shaft: Nippon Modus 120 Stiff • Grip: Golf Pride MCC Midsize

Amazing Looks, Feel, And Performance
Looks, Feel, Consistency, and Performance! These irons are an incredible set. They look and feel amazing. They are incredibly consistent, even on less than perfect strikes. Paired up with the MMT 125 shafts, these irons just perform.

Great Upgrade From The P790s
Exceptional feel and surprising forgiveness. Very happy to switch from the P790 to P7CBs for my scoring irons.
