I 'accidentally' broke my trusty TaylorMade M4 driver and needed a quick replacement. I went in expecting to purchase an older and cheaper model but had to try the latest and greatest in the simulator. I liked the look and feel, plus the numbers were good. But simulators are one thing, and the course is another. So out I went and Wow. Slightly longer than the M4 but the real difference is the forgiveness. Fairway after fairway after fairway. My playing partners were stunned. Not that I used to spray my driver all over the place, but there were always a few times a round I would hit some loose ones, typically right. Not anymore. After half a dozen rounds I can count my missed fairways on one hand. I may have busted my budget, but I am a happy man.
