Rated 5 out of 5 by from works as ti should I bought this repair kit as a last ditch effort to save a flocked air mattress. I was less than hopeful when I put it on. But elated when I woke up in the morning and I wasn't sleeping on a flat mattress. Good job Tear-Aid

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wish I Had Never Bought It Worked great on the one hole on the smooth side of my inflatable bed. On the seams where most of the holes form it is useless. Formed a bubble as it peeled itself off and when I eventually had to peel it off it made the hole much bigger. Too big to patch with any kit now. Ended up having to trash my 250 dollar Aero Bed. Just recovering from major neck surgery and sleeping on the floor now. Not good. I hate writing reviews like this but I was asked to write one so that's it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from not good at the seam Our towable inflatable tube had a leak in the seam. We thought this would fix it and it seemed like it did but in fact the seam just kept opening up further down the line. I think the product would work very well for a hole in a place other than the seam

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Review of Tear-aid vinyl repair kit The product seems to work well on the air mattress that I repaired except for on the seam.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from I haven't gotten this patch kit to work yet. I have a vinyl ball about 4 feet in diameter that fits inside a nylon cover. When inflated, the ball gets firm at about 3 feet then expands out against the nylon cover at full inflation. The ball has a small puncture hole. I cleaned the vinyl with the alcohol pad and applied the 7/8” x 7/8” patch over the hole, put the ball inside the nylon cover and inflated the ball. I expected the vinyl pressing outward against the nylon outer cover would help hold the patch. The patch didn't hold. This weekend I'm going to try a 3” x 3” patch cut from the 3” x 12”, we'll see how that works. Maybe using a massive patch over this little puncture is what it needs. The data sheet says “Elastic patch won't pull off when stretched” but I'm beginning to not believe that.
