I Would Not Buy This Duffel Bag Again.

Outside material scuffs VERY easily and just had bottom plastic plate, inside shell break in half. E-mailed North Face to find out if it can be repaired and never heard back. Much too expensive of a product to have terrible customer support.

I Would Buy This Again But Not Sure It Will Ever Wear Out

This is a very well-built travel duffle that I have yet to use. I was planning on a trip to Jamaica after the hurricane, but that trip got cancelled. I would like to see a change in how the handle retracts and extends to having only one button instead of 2.

Expensive Disposable Rolling Duffel

I use The North Face rolling duffel quite a bit and I wore out a set of wheels after using it for a couple of years. Contacted support asking where I can purchase replacement wheels... they replied, "we do not offer replacement wheels... maybe try searching the internet" ...WHAT !!!? Pay over USD300 for The North Face rolling duffel and they cannot supply replacement parts... I will not be buying any roller duffels from The North Face anymore...

Best Rolling Duffel On The Market

We added to our north face luggage collection, and this is our third rolling thunder suitcase. It's durable, easy to maneuver, and holds a lot of stuff.

Yes

Great piece of Gear, Wish they had figured out a way to have backpack straps on it but phenomenal nonetheless. Using air tight bags we were able to pack a family of 4 into this (Plus our carry on back packs) for a 5 night trip. 1 checked bag. I also like how once home i was able to just wipe down the bag to removal all of the dirt.

Well-made And Robust - Give's You That 'Adventurer's' Image!

Fresh back from a trip to Oceania with his luggage. The wheels and handle on it are absolute bomber, and I have no fears about them being damaged when airline personnel fling my luggage onto their ramps or carts - and that's always been a big concern with traditional suitcases. The looks are impressive, and the material is robust and dependable - particularly like the handle on the bottom to help me lift this bag into my car - every little bit helps!

I Would Buy This Product Again

Travel to Italy, college trips, and hunting. Durable, waterproof, heavy duty zippers, sinch straps, multiple compartments,. Wheels and frame are super strong.

Pleased

Pleased. Liked that it has separators for toiletries, shoes, clothing. Wheels make it easy. Handle is well crafted. Great investment! We have the smaller size too but this was great... especially if you tend to overpack.

This Is My Fourth Of These Bags. They Are Awesome

Fantastic bag. There isn't a sturdier travel companion out there

Handle Broke - Warranty Denied

I used this bag sparingly over the last few years. On an overseas trip, the internal plastic part in the telescoping handle broke and the handle came off. Real bummer for the rest of the trip. North Face denied the warranty claim although it was not abused. Beware.

Bought 1 Year Ago And Still Going Strong

The only downside to this bag is it's weight. Other than that it hit all my requirements (durable wheel system, water proof (for luggage), good zippers, rugged look, and compression straps.

Rolling Thunder Review

Worked great for a hiking photo trip with family. Held clothes, hiking pack, shoes, etc. No issues on Southwest Airlines for checked luggage

I Would Not Buy It Again

I own three of these. They are well made but heavy and the bags weight is about 22 percent of the allowed baggage allowance of 50lbs per checked bag that most airlines follow. A buckle on one of my bags broke on its first airline trip. North Face customer service said North Face do not stock buckles and I would have to ship it to a repair centre. At the repair centre I was told they don't have the buckles and they can't get them from North Face. The repair centre would source new buckles and change the straps...what a waste of time and effort when the broken buckle can be slid off the strap to be replaced. Unfortunately, North Face doesn't stock it and the customer suffers. Terrible service and poor support for a new product. So much for being green and reducing pollution and carbon footprints North Face.
