Rated 5 out of 5 by from Big and Roomy! Worth the money! My girlfriend and I used this tent in Yosemite in April of 2014. Camping in Wawona was amazing with this tent. We set it up in less than 20 minutes with two people and were extremely happy with its size and shape. The tent held up well to the small amounts of wind we experienced. If it is the summer months, the tent will get pretty hot with the rain fly on, as expected. Overall we were extremely happy with the Kaiju 6 and are going to use it for all of our future camping trips. Thanks North Face!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent tent Kaiju After reading all of the comments herein my wife and I had this up, staked, and ready in less than 15 minutes, fly included. If you do it right, with a little tension, you velcro the fly to the poles where indicated, there is no water puddling on the roof, and you can relax. I gave it a good hosing down and not a drop of water inside anywhere. Even the supplied stakes were heavy and adequate but I will upgrade them later. It's a large tent especially for my claustrophobic wife who says no more than three or four will fit with comfort. I'm over 6' tall and I can stand comfortably inside. Even though it's late September it's still 95F in South Texas. Rainfly keeps it a little warm inside but a little breeze flows through nicely. Great tent.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Warranty in the Country I have always owned North Face products and any time I have had any minor issues they have always taken care of me. Recently our 12 year old bedrock tent had an issue with the rain fly. My expectation was to get a repair of it , but since they no longer make it North Face stepped up and replaced the entire tent and FP without any negotiations... Best Warranty in the Country and best Customer Service team to deal with. Thank you North Face

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this tent. The Kaiju 6 is awesome! It can be set up by one person, it has stayed totally dry through some impressive downpours, and it is incredibly roomy. And, oooh, how I love the ginormous vestibule! I put a little table and chair in there, so I have a dry and shady spot to eat, read, etc., and it's big enough to keep my bike in, too. I definitly recommend getting the footprint to go with it, because it works so much better that a tarp. There is only one thing I would change about the design. The panel on the very top of the tent pools water a bit. After storms, I have to push it up from inside the tent, so that the water will run off. This hasn't caused any problems, but it is a design flaw that I am suprised The North Face didn't correct. That being said, I wouldn't have chosen any other tent. I love this tent!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Vestibule Overall, this is a good tent design, but I think the consistently positive reviews are stemming exclusively from the extra-large vestibule. Without the generous vestibule, this tent does not shine brighter than its competition. Don't get me wrong, I love the main vestibule, but when taut, the zipper on the vestibule is difficult to close, and the storm flap tends to get caught in the zipper. With the vestibule open, privacy is lost since there is no "solid door" option for the main entrance to the tent. But most importantly, and the reason I am writing... the flat area of the rainfly, between the three main tent poles, holds water. You can shake the tent and some water will drain down the sides, but some of the water just bounces up and down and does not drain. One morning after a light rain, I woke up to a pancake-sized puddle on the roof of my tent. I pushed up on the tent/rainfly to drain the water, and all of the condensation from the inside of the tent was soaked up by the mesh ceiling and then dripped to the floor. There are many important features that make this tent great, but there are things that keep it from being a 5-star product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from easy to set up, durable. its North Face At first I was very surprise to see how easy it was to set up. It took me 10 min with positioning the tent right near the beach. i love north face products, The Kaiju 6 offers a lot of head room for you and the kids to run around. The Kaiju 6 rain fly is awesome because it offers addition space for chairs to stay out of the sun. if you decide to get the Kaiju 6 you need to also get the Foot Print,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Massive tent for car camping I just bought this tent about 3 weeks ago and have taken it on two car camping trips so far. I'm an Eagle Scout and have done a number of backpacking trips, and this is my second TNF tent, but I bought this primarily for car camping and it is perfect for the occasion. I purchased this tent for two reasons: number of people it can fit and it's height. I love that I can stand up no problem, which makes this a great option if you're bringing along people who are rookies with camping. It makes everyone comfortable. I would say this is more of a 4-5 person tent, if you like your room. This past weekend, I had 3 people and a dog in the tent and it was roomy. We could have added 1 more, with the dog, but not 5. Quality is great, as expected. The rainfly is more like a seating area that it's so roomy. Great touch. My only complaint was that 1 tent pole and 1 rainfly pole are the same color and my first time setting up the tent, I wasn't sure which one went with what. However, you only make that mistake twice and now you know that the one that bends severely is for the rainfly :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tent! On Sunday, May 11, 2014 1:56 PM, Carol Wilson <> wrote: I love, love, love this new tent. I just retired so plan on going on many camping trips and this tent has so many nice features. As soon as it arrived, my boyfriend and I set it up in the yard. It took around 15 minutes. (We didn't put in the tent stakes.) I've never had a tent that I can stand up in and that I don't have to crawl into it. It's very roomy so there's more than enough room for the two of us and all our stuff. The reason it caught our eye on line more than the others was because of the vestibule. I like that we can keep our shoes outside of our sleeping area but not get wet. I'm also setting up a port-a-potty in there so I don't have to walk to the bathroom in the middle of the night. There are three zippered entrances. Two into the vestibule and one that will let you enter through the back side of the tent. It also has handy velcro slots on the sides of the rain fly that you can prop open to let more air in. I
