North Face Fit And Decals
Try on before buying or plan to maybe return. A large is usually my go to fit size for North Face. The large was slightly snug on me, and the XL was a little better fit. The jacket does not have a pull cord at the waist to synch up the waist, so plan on air coming in the gap at the waist. The North Face logos are vinyl and cheap and are not embroidered. They’ll eventually come off with use and normal wear. The weight of the jacket is somewhat heavy feeling compared to all down models by Patagonia or Columbia hoodies. I have a Columbia 700 fill down jacket and love it for light weight, packable, snd warmth for such a light jacket. Had considered this one but will pass unless I can get it for less than $120 on clearance. And, feathers are coming out of the new ones in random places.

Molts Like A Spring Chicken
The coat has a nice fit, but it doesn’t meet the dependability I’ve come to expect from TNF. I’ve never had a coat lose so much down before: it’s everywhere, and it doesn’t seem to be letting up. At this rate it’s becoming less of a puffer and more of a strangely-fashioned windbreaker.
