Rated 4 out of 5 by from Soccer Gloves! I use these to play soccer and they work wonderfully. Admittedly, I don't think I've worn them in a game or practice where it was pouring, but they held up against the elements just fine (light drizzles, falling in puddles, and early morning training sessions after a night of heavy rains).I'd recommend these for the general-use to active buyer. I wouldn't take these to the snow as snow-gloves, because I have some heavy duty gloves for that. Anything else though, they're light and comfy and do the job of keeping my hands warm and dry.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Keeps hands warm Went skiing with it on and had no problems. Temperatures were in the teens.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good for winter weather and freezing I use these on my motorcycle when in the 40s and 50s F, and they've been good down at 15 deg F standing still.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from North Face Gloves: Stay Away Avoid these North Face gloves. Buy either Seirus or Eastern Mountain Sports gloves instead. These gloves may look good with the North Face symbol but they don't keep your hands that warm. Additionally, they are bulky and VERY expensive.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great mid-weight glove Great mid-weight glove for me. The other reviewers are not wrong though about the tight entry into the glove. I'm 5'10" 170 and I wear a large glove, and it is a little snug getting the glove on. Personally, I like the tight fit, since I wear them in Chicago...and it can get pretty cold.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Sleek look Bought this as a Christmas gift. Was surprised my husband had to return to size down two sizes. This is a lightweight glove-enough to cut the wind and cold but would not say it's for extreme cold or prolonged exposure. Quality as expected with north face. Only wish they were warmer

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not much better than bare hands These are nice looking and seemingly well constructed gloves but for anything colder than 60 degrees, my hands got cold just walking around in 50 degree weather for 30 min. North Face should have something better.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from good if u still wanna use your hands I was in NYC and it was freezing...i still needed to use my phone and camera outside in the cold these allowed me to still do basic functions but i could still feel the cold through the glove
