The Wind And Rain Pass Right Through The Stitching
This coat is supposed to be warm. That may be the case if it is not windy, however, since the stitching is through the outside and inside layers, the jacket provide almost no wind resistance. I wore it to get gas the other day when it was 34 degrees and 15 mph wind, and the wind was just blowing right through all the stitching. It was almost as if I was wearing no coat at all. Making matters worse is the fact that it was also raining and it too passed through the stitching and the shoulders of my shirt got wet. Nice looking jacket, but North Face needs to redesign with a separate lining so wind and rain can’t pass from the outer layer through the insulation abd inner layer. I should have returned the jacket as soon as I saw how it was constructed. Decided to give it a try.
