Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice Pant but I have reservations I will start with I love that The North Face makes ski pants that don't have too much extra thigh space. Unfortunately these went a little too far the other way. I am 5'4", 120lbs and the waist and length were great but the thigh/butt were too tight in the small I also bought a pair of the NFZ Pant in a small and they fit great through the thigh/butt. I was also disappointed with the thigh pocket. Although it would hold your items securely it makes them difficult to access quickly. I use these as work pants at a ski area and wanted the thigh pocket for easy access to employee schedules and my phone. But, the pocket is too difficult to access quickly (con for me, pro for valuables:)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Freedom Large/Short The Freedom pants are great. Only problem is the Large/Short size is a bit on the long side for my inseam. I have a 34-35" haist and a 29-30" inseam and the short length in large are a bit too long. The medium/short length were a perfect length for me, however, they were a bit tight around the middle. I understand I have short stubby legs and realize that a short length in large needs to be longer than a short length I'm medium (TNF needs to make a product that fits most people and it is not their fault that I really like IPAs and should normally fit in a medium /short). With ski boots, the lengrh is good. I just roll them up when walking in my normal shoes so I don't fray the bottoms.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from TOP QUALITY Right out of the box i could feel the quality in the pants and after close inspection i was sure these were a good first time purchase from TNF. The first test was a couple days ago in Black Hawk, CO with 6" of snow & 25MPH wind with just a base layer and the freedom pants i was just fine heat wise and my mobility was as if i was in just my base layer, look no further these are the snow pants for winter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sturdy and solid I am 5'11", 180 lbs and bought the mediums. The waist and overall fit is just a bit loose but the features and heavy fabric are great. Nice color.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Not easy to find Ski Pants for Tall My son is 6'3" and 185 lb. I first ordered Columbia Bugaboo II pants in size Large Tall. Even with adjustable waist tabs, it was still too big. Unfortunately company doesn't produce smaller sizes in Tall. I was researching a lot and learned that North Face does Tall Ski pants in multiple sizes. I really liked the option to Find Your Size, but in the end the program was 68% for size Medium Tall and 32% for Large Tall. Based on my previous shopping experience I thought Medium Tall will work, but decided to order 2 sizes to be 100% sure. Love that North Face has Free Return policy. Although $40 more, the reason I picked FREEDOM instead of Seymore model mainly because of Adjustable waist tabs. I think it's very important to have adjustable waist so it's not stiff while you skiing and putting your body through different poses. Anyway, Large Tall was the best Fit. Especially due to Adjustable Waist tabs. Obviously still need to test pants skiing. :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Ski Pants Great pants for skiing. Lightweight and comfortable. I ordered the 34 inseam, and at 6'2", they fit perfectly. Highly recommend this for your standard skiing adventure!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality and price point! I use the freedom pants for snowboarding throughout the northeast, mostly Vermont. Great pant for the price. A lot of pants out there can be had for a little less than the freedom pants, but the ones I saw weren't quite as tough as these. These are the pants you want so you don't have to worry about snagging the fabric on a lift chair because they're too soft. These pants have the right amount of "bulletproof", and the right amount of "comfy". Would definitely recommend to others.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great product My husband is 5"9 & 190 pounds. Wears 34/30 pants. We exchanged them for the short because they were way long. Ordered the large. Just took them tip Fairbanks Alaska and went tubing, dog sledding, and shot pictures of the Northern Lights for multiple hours for 3 nights. Stayed warm and dry with just long under wear under them.
