Great Technical Jacket For Ski Resorts

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very happy with this jacket after four days of skiing in variable conditions. Here are the key attributes: 1. Warmth - it's pretty warm; not the warmest imaginable jacket but I can easily get away with a thin base layer in 30 degree conditions. When the temp plummeted to zero I wore a couple heavier base layers and was still comfortable. I love the ample coverage over your chin and mouth, which provides great wind protection on top of your balaclava. 2. Coverage - Jacket does a great job sealing in the elements with hardy and easy-to-use velcro straps at the wrists, a powder skirt, and a functional hood that fits around a size L helmet without constraining my neck. 3. Pockets galore! And they are big. Only a couple slight issues: - water-proof zippers were a bit hard to open or close the first time I wore the jacket, which was zero-degree weather. I didn't notice the issue later on when the weather warmed up. - the cuffs don't mesh too well with my gauntlet-style mitts, especially if I'm layered up a lot underneath. Basically both the jacket and mitts seems to want to be on the outside.
