Solid Backpack, A Few Things Could Be Improved
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bottom line is I do like this backpack and would recommend it, but a few things can definitely be improved. Pros - 1. Sleek design, lightweight material. 2. Corded front pocket easily expands and is perfect for storing a jacket. 3. The side water bottle pocket has that external flap to secure taller water bottles - I used to have the Women's Isabella backpack with a shallow pocket and my 21 oz Hydroflask fell out a few times, hasn't happened with this one. 4. It has both a water-bladder pocket and a laptop compartment, so can easily be multi-purposed, which is nice for me since I like having one backpack for everything, from travel, school, to hiking. Cons - 1. Like another review mentioned, biggest complaint is the opening to the main compartment is way too small, I feel like they could extend the zipper by at least 2 inches on both sides which would have made a big difference. 2. The item description saying the water-bladder pocket can double as a laptop pocket is not 100% accurate (see picture) - the pocket narrows as it gets to the bottom so unless your laptop's depth is less than maybe 6.5 inches, it can't fit in; most tablets however will easily fit. 3. I personally would like to see one more pocket in the main compartment, right now I store small items like keys/meds/lotion/extra sanitizer/etc. in the side pocket that has a zipper, but it's more deep than wide so a lot of things get shuffled to the bottom during travel, and I have to spend a good amount of time digging in there, that's already somewhat difficult even with my small hands and skinny wrists, I can only imagine other people struggling more 4. I have taken this backpack hiking and noticed it seems to collect dust/dirt easier than my previous backpack, I just take a wet cloth to wipe it off, but that's still an extra maintenance step

Excellent Bag With Slight Room For Improvement
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bag is really nice! The material is everything I was looking for (light and soft). The largest complaint with the bag as-is is that I wish the opening was bigger to access items on the bottom. It seems rather restrictive, but it's not meant to hold a lot like other bags. The main reason I purchased this, is because I wanted a single-day pack for hiking that included a slot for a hydration pack, and a lot of the other NF hiking bags were more geared towards overnight and too large for just a couple hour hike. This bag does have a side pocket for a cellphone or keys/wallet, and the other side has a pocket to put a 18-20oz (estimated) bottle of water. Would like to see one additional pocket in the main compartment, perhaps instead of the laptop pouch. This bag's identity really confused me, because seeing as how this bag has a hydration bag slot, I wouldn't think you'd use the inside pocket for your laptop/work. Since they're missing the market on smaller trail bags (that include a hydration bag slot), they would be better off scrapping the internal laptop pocket in this and put in another zipper compartment instead. Overrall, I would still recommend this bag for someone who doesn't mind keeping things minimal, and I would certainly be interested in them making an updated version of this with a few changes and perhaps up the capacity to 25L
