Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Pack I sprayed basic waterproof on this bag and took it on a 7 day hike through the mountains of West Virginia and it was great. The pack has a breathable cushion that fits perfectly on my back. I had clothes for four days, sleep bag, tent, and small stove and kitchen gear and I was able to fit enough extra stuff/goodies that I was very comfortable when we stopped. I traded my pack for a day with my buddy, who uses an osprey, and he was reluctant to give it back the next day.So, water proof this bag with a $5 bottle of waterproof spray and you have the best internal frame pack that I have used.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pack I just bought this pack yesterday and went home to pack it all up. This is my 1st backpack purchase. I loaded my sleeping bag into to bottom zippered compartment, my solo tent, the poles, and a groundcloth went all in the main compartment. Next went in my propane and my cook kit, a change of clothes, my tool kit and food. I had just enough room on top to load in my puffy jacket before closing the lid. In the lid itself i have plenty of room for my electronics, and my rain gear. The pack does have 2 pouches on the hip belt and also another zippered pouch on the front of the pack.I spent alot of time watching youtube vids on how to correctly adjust the pack to my 6'2" body and after some trial and error, got the pack fitting to me nicely. I have so far very happy with the quality and strength of this pack and look forward to taking it out on the trail.Oh and by the way, all loaded up last night weighed in just shy of 30 lbs.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Nice size and shape for the amount it can fit, wish there was more features. This bag is nice, semi waterproof with no rain cover. Its a nice size and doesn't feel to bulky when completely full. I do wish there was more pockets for easy organization. I used this bag for almost 2 weeks in peru and unfortunately already ripping in the front. However it was a heavy use trip for the bag, but i expected more from a northface bag.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Okay pack. Needs reworked. Here's what I didn't like about this pack: The bottom compartment has a separator which is totally useless for small items as the gaps along the sides allow things to fall straight to the bottom. Really sucks when you've got short arms. This would be better served with a zippered divider. The chest straps are a very weak design. Pulled mine completely off the pack as we were heading out for a 36 mile three excursion. The hip belt tightening system could definitely use a redesign as you currently lack the leverage needed to pull these tight while the pack is on. I've seen other packs with different tightening mechanisms and they really seem to give you the leverage needed to get this cinched just right and after I had broken my chest strap trying to tighten it I was afraid to pull the straps tighter. It's also super difficult to pull these straps when they are wet weather it's because of the material or the direction you're forced to pull I can't tell. This will be going back to the store and I will be choosing a different pack.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from very happy I am so glad I was able to get ahold of my terra 65 I did a lot of research on it and many others the terra being cheaper won but dicks didn't have it in stock in store to try on first before I bought so I went to a different store and tried one on after I ordered it online. This pack feels great on my back and can hold all my gear. for the ones that say it's to small to fit all their gear in the just need to learn how to correctly pack a pack.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good Storage, Fairly Comfortable Fit. I bough this pack two weeks ago and immediately put it to work. The pack does accommodate a water reservoir, but is difficult to utilize with a 3.0 Liter bag. Access port for water reservoir tube is way too small. Hip pockets are a bit small for go to items. There is plenty of storage however, the compartments necessitated careful packing to ensure pack balance was maintained. For the money,

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bought two for my daughters, may buy one for myself My daughters, now 18 & 21, were in need of better packs for multiple day outings. A five day trip was days away. The pack's customizable to torso length, a great feature. The rest of the features fulfilled all their needs for the entire trip. They look forward to many years of use. I need a new 2-3 day pack and will take a serious look at one of these models for my use.
