This Tent Saved My Family

Last night my family went camping for the first time in 5 years, as night approached my wife and 3 year old decided to spend some time in the tent as it was approaching my little one's bed time. All of a sudden I heard creak and snapping sound and before I could comprehend what was happening I saw a tree limb break and fall directly onto my North Face Wawona 4-Person Tent. The limb bent the poles of my tent and ripped two holes onto the side of the tent. We are thankful to the high quality materials of this tent for deflecting the tree limb and saving us from what could have been a life ending event.

Maybe

I have the old version of this tent - great tent. Terrible stuff sack - I can't believe they didn't come up with a better one since I bought my my tent (2018). I had to get a different sack because you can't really put it back the way you got it from the factory. The drawstring doesn't stay taught, you can't get the drawstring to close enough to keep eveything in the bag. Northface really should be embarrassed to keep using this bag. Buy the tent, now over $500, and then you get to buy on top of that, a stuff bag and a footprint for another couple of hundred bucks. You might want to look at competitors for a better deal.

Love This Tent

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We’ve only taken it out for one trip so far but it performed beautifully. Tons of tie-out points which was great - loved being able to open up the windows and both doors even with the rain fly on for the cross breeze. My only tiny issue was that the zipper on the vestibule wants to catch the fabric but just being a little careful solves that problem!
