Not very durable. I used this on and off for a year or more and the laptop sleeve zipper completely split and hangs open now.

Looks Nice, But Too Compact To Hold Back To School Textbooks
We originally bought the Jester Luxe for my daughter for back to school. She could barely fit her 2 inch binder and 2 small notebooks in the main compartment. It was so narrow. So, we exchanged it for this Borealis Luxe. It is a little larger, but could not fit beyond 1 small pencil case, 1 textbook, and a binder in the main compartment. There is nowhere for her to store a lunch if taking one to school after putting her book and binder in, and it cannot accommodate more than 1 medium to large textbook combined with a 2 inch binder and a pencil case in main compartment. Why make “school” backpacks that aren’t large enough to handle/fit textbooks and a lunch? Yes, there are nice, small organization pockets, and it’s a nice looking backpack, but we need a large, spacious area for textbooks and somewhere to put a lunch. Unfortunately, we had to return this backpack and choose another brand.

Too Small
I just bought this backpack for school as an incoming 8th grader and I'm not happy. I think that this bag is too deep and not wide enough. if you're going to put more than two binders and three journals in the main pocket then don't get this bag. it fits, yeah, but it's way too tight. but the quality is great and the colors are so beautiful.
