I Love It!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's the best winter coat I ever had! Comfy, stylish and warm! Love love love it!

Warm In The Coldest Weather

If youre looking for warmth in freezing temperatures this jacket is for you. I own this and the North Face arctic parka 2 as well..... and this one is definitely warmer. I have worn it in minus 30 Celcius and been warm with just a t shirt....With that being said... Its a bit boxy fitting and its too warm for any weather from about 0 celcius and up wheras the arctic parka is good Id say from about -5 and up to mid teens without getting too warm and its more tapered and attractive for a female body. To me they both serve a purpose but when its freezing cold out i always grab my defdown futurelight. I am 5'5 185lbs and i wear a large in the defdown.

Warm And Lightweight

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great cost- fit as expected and is pretty lightweight for how warm it is. Also has convenient pocket features. The outside material is definitely wTer repellent.

Unimpressed

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was my first North Face purchase. To note, I am 32, 5’11 with a booty, and 215lbs. I purchased a large and the arms were too long (I never have this issue) but the chest area fit perfect. The issue I was have was in the hip/butt area; I was constantly having to pull down the lower half when it was zipped aka it was too small on the lower half. I could not exchange for an XL because the arms were too long in the large. Ultimately, returned it altogether. It fit me like a potato sack no structure in the design, no thumb holes, no cinching waistband (not that I need that but other woman might). It was a very “blah” jacket for being so expensive.

L-o-v-e!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This jacket arrived just in time for the start of our fall, wet and cold season. It's exactly as described, warm, waterproof, stylish, windproof, waterproof, and functional. Best of all, it's quiet compared to other insulated, waterproof jackets I own. The cut and length of the jacket works well for me (athletic build, 5'5"), tailored, but not too fitted that I cannot layer if needed. I also do not look like the Michelin man. I'm ready for whatever the weather throws my way!
