Not the warmth I was hoping for. I'd say an early fall or late spring kind of weight. It runs large, which would be useful for lots of layering but if you're between sizes, don't size up. The layering will be fine. The really big shoulders and v cut were not flattering on me.

Would Buy But Size Down One Size
Love the length of the vest and that it's not too thick great over a fleece. It does run large so you might want to size down one but that's my opinion.
