Very hesitant to write a review since I only write them to get the rewards points and I haven’t received any points for my reviews in a long time. If you want a very functional and stylish backpack from north face you should buy this one. All 3 of my girls have it. If you want it cheaper than at Dick’s go buy it somewhere else or utilize the price match to save $40-$50. If I get rewards points for this review the purchase will be even better.

Would Not Buy This Again

use this for high school and it's not worth the price or popularity, design is not well made, open the pockets and they just fold out making things fall, not big enough for a single binder, and rips.

Comfortable, Spacious Backpack

I ordered a Jester Backpack of my own after seeing how well the Jester served my college student for a semester. It holds a lot, seems well made, has good pockets for organizing and comfortably padded straps, and the women's backpack is a good fit for my 5'6" frame. I might take half a star off for the way it falls over if I have items in the small front pocket and not enough weight in the main compartment and the fact that my small-ish water bottle falls out of the water bottle pockets, but those are pretty minor inconveniences for me.

Front top pocket is small but carries all the chargers, mouse,and memory sticks. Padded pocket for a laptop or tablet. Just enough room for notebooks, etc. This is medium sized.

North Face Backpack

I bought this backpack as a work bag because I just received a new lap top. I had a jester backpack that I bought about 10 years ago, still in excellent condition but I liked the colors on this one. The backpack itself is still great, but I was a little disappointed in the fact that you no longer get full zip up compartments like before. The front section is more like half a compartment, for example if I wanted to fit a full size notebook in there, it wouldn’t fit. Still a great bag and I use it everyday, but that was kind of a bummer.

I bought this for University and not only is she cute, she’s comfortable to wear and I love that it stays upright. Only complaint is the top front pocket weights the bag down forward and leaves a weird lower space in the main compartment.

Excellent Backpack For Middle Schooler

I bought this backpack for my 6th grade daughter. Handles her stuff nicely, as well as water bottle. Def more durable than previous one she owned by a different manufacturer.

It's Alright

The back part started wearing and tearing so that chunks of the padding came out. I'm not sure how or why since I don't wear anything that would rip it. It is a top heavy bag and constantly falls over on itself. It doesn't protect my laptop on the bottom on top so I'm constantly worried about it's safety - it got dented today. Otherwise, it's good and functional and a pretty color.
