Perfect fit, comfortable. Feel light but are very warm.
Baggy. Not slim. There's a useless metal boot hook on the inside of the elastic leg cuff opening that gets caught on your toes (ouch) as you don on the pants, then on your fingers (ouch) as you pull the cuff over the ski boot. I've skied for over 20 years now and have never remotely thought I'd need to hook the elastic cuff of the pants to the ski boot. This metal hook CANNOT actually hook onto any part of a ski boot, either. The short length, available North Face website itself, is too long to be considered short. The pants are also not as warm as HH brand, you all, just fyi.

Lovely Ski Pants
This is a lovely padded warm ski pant! We went skiing in -15 weather & it held up great! One day was rainy & while my daughter's Patagonia pants looked wet, the water bubbled off these pants & kept me dry, it's definitely waterproof! I love the waistband, it's a soft material that hugs the lower back & the sides have Velcro straps to tighten. I wish they went a little higher up the waist for my own preference, but they sit nicely and I tucked several layers without issues. It runs true to size, I'm an XS and still had plenty of room for 2 legging layers underneath. I purchased the matching jacket (both black) and the combo was warm & waterproof. I wish there were more fun/vibrant color options :) but definitely worth the investment for cold days & activities.

Good Pants - Size Down
These are very good quality and warm on cold days skiing. 4 stars only because I think they run a little large in both legs and waist. The waist has a stretchy piece in the back that seems to bounce back after wearing twice. TBD how much the elastic will hold over the longer term. The pants have Velcro tighteners on the sides so that should keep them in place.
