I bought this hat (gardenia white color) a few weeks ago in preparation for winter, plus to match The North Face Women's Hydrenalite Down Hooded Jacket in gardenia white. the hat is a little darker than the coat though.We had one cold night in NY recently and it really kept my head, too warm so I guess it'll be perfect for when the winter really sets in here in NYC
