[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They look nice, but when we took my grand-daughter skiing at Brian Head last Sunday, her hands were so freezing, we had to go to the ski shop and buy her a brand new pair. She wore them on just three runs. I would love to send them back for a refund if possible. We were very disappointed!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought these for skiing. Not enough insulation for Dec-Feb cold temps though. My kid uses them as school mittens everyday, and ski mittens on warmer days. Not sure what the point of a lightweight mitten is. Cold temps = heavy mittens; Warm temps = gloves. Sorry.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 8 year old loves the gloves/mittens. He absolutely loves playing in the snow, and with prior gloves/mittens we had, it seems like snow was getting inside right between his coat and his mittens making his hands frozen and play time cut short. With these mittens The North Face solved couple of problems 1. No snow ever entered these gloves and 2. they are waterproof and kept his little hands nice and warm. He enjoyed the style and warmth!
