Rated 5 out of 5 by from insulating not overly soft, but does the trick. keeps body from being too cold laying against the cold ground.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Sleeps Hot, Packs Not We needed an upgrade for my son's sleeping pad as a Boy Scout. We wanted a foldable one that would pack well when he's loaded down for camping trips. The one we wanted was gone, so we got this thinking it could be rolled up. It did, but was still bulky and took up a lot of room. Slept great-waterproof and cushy. Would be fine if you were driving somewhere with a family and could just carry of as is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice Basic Ground Pad I got this for my son, who is a Boy Scout. It's a pretty basic pad, but he said it made a big difference while camping in 20 degree weather. It does add a little bit of cushion, but that's not its primary purpose. Rather, it insulates you from the cold ground, preserving precious body heat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solved a unique sleeping problem I bought this pad a month ago, hoping that together with a slightly thicker (1/2") dense foam pad, the two would help to firm up my side of a memory foam mattress on our bed at home. seems to be working. I'm sleeping much longer and better than I have since we got that expensive new mattress 18+ months ago. With much reduced back and leg pain that I'm sure was caused by sinking so deep into the meMott foam I felt like I had to crawl out of a hole to get out of bed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product! Great product for the price! Very light weight and easy to carry on my ruck sack. Not as comfy as a feather top mattress but hey when you're in the great outdoors who needs that! Looking forward to many more hiking experiences with it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect in a hammock I bought this to use in my parachute hammock. I am sleeping in a hammock instead of a tent because it is more comfortable and easier to set up and carry around. The big problem with sleeping in a hammock is losing heat from the air currents under the hammock and all of the hammock camping forums recommend a sleep pad. The therm-a-rest pad was perfect. It was around 32 degrees (F) the night I used it and never felt cold. I am sure this works well on the ground as well. Overall, I love it and plan on buying a few more for my wife and children.
