Essential Gear, But Needs Improved
I'm on day 41 of a 4,000 mile journey on a Honda Ruckus, a moped. Me and gear has a weight limit of 225 pounds. I consider the Thermocell such essential gear I find a place for it at the expense of an ultralight skillet if you can imagine that. Yes I would buy it again, but I have a list of gripes Shield the control button! Better yet, put it in a close fitting case. IF YOU PACK WITHOUT PROTECTION, you will inadvertently turn it on and the battery will be dead when you use it. These are messy to use day after day. Pack it in a Ziploc bag to keep from getting oil all over your gear, and ALWAYS remember to remove and put the cap on the cartridge. Please fix so a cartridge can be left installed without mess when the unit is turned off or the battery is discharged. I don't want to have to remember to do this. I'm a senior citizen in my memory is failing. If they don't fix the leaking issue, be assured that you will get oil on your hands. Wash it off with soap if at all possible, but don't get it on your face! The oil because I think it's probably the stuff that works, but I do hope they fix the leak. Yes buy this.

Travelled Thailand, Not One Bite
My daughter always gets bit. Makes travelling uncomfortable. I used this having dinner in a field between rice paddies and a lake. Bugs everywhere but not one bite. Everyone at the event ordered one. Worked amazingly well.

This Helps A Lot!
Living on the water in SW Florida, we've tried lots of insect repellents. This device has helped the most and lasted the longest. I turn it on in the boat in the evenings to keep the mosquitos and no-see-ums from swarming us. Last weekend I forgot it because it was recharging in the garage. Boy, did I regret it. Three sleepless nights and one tube of hydrocortisone later, I've ordered a second device so we can alternate them; one on the boat, and one on the charger. I do wish the EX series used usb-C instead of micro, but I tried the EL55 and it stopped working after being caught out in the rain.

Doesn’t Work At All
I am setting on my patio with thermacell under my chair and I have video of mosquitos landing on my foot not two feet from unit. Have had it over a year and never noticed it helping. This is not a bad mosquito area either
