I commute a short distance to/from work (~6 miles round trip). I hated wearing my backpack on hot summer days. I bought this basket and it easily attached to a pretty low-end back rack and works like a champ! my backpack fits right in and I secure with a 12in bungee cord that easily hooks on to the side lattice work on the basket. It's light, so doesn't add much weight. 10 out of 10, would buy again, but hopefully it holds up for 10+ years :)

I had been using an old crate so this is definitely an upgrade in the looks department. It's well built and easily attached to my Surly 24-pack front rack. The mounting isn't difficult, but seems more complicated than it needs to be. My only beef is that the dimensions are a little misleading as it's slightly tapered so something that might fit in the top won't go all the way to the bottom. A minor quibble - but worth noting. Overall, I'm happy and will likely get a second one for my other bike.

Thule Pack 'N Pedal Basket

I received my Thule Pack 'n Pedal Basket about a week ago. The instillation took a few minutes, but once finished the basket looked great and held tight to my rear bike rack. It's a good size basket, not too big, not too small, just right. Took my bicycle with new basket to the grocery store for a test trip. The basket made no noise and worked perfectly!

Great Quality....one of the barrel nuts turned out to be defective...no threads! only discovered after 1 1/2 hours upside down trying to install that one bolt. worth it in the end. my back still hurts :)

My Dog Carrier

I've had this Pack and Pedal basket/rack system for quite sometime. Use is mostly when I want to take my dog (14lbs) with me, which is often. The ability to use it on any bike and any location is ideal for me. Now that we have two dogs.. I'm buying a second system. one for the front and one for the back.

Pack N Pedal Tour Rack

This rack is great. Easy to install and remove. Lightweight. Fits any non carbon fiber bike, either front or back. Cannot be removed with standard tools (screwdriver or allen wrench), so difficult to steal. Good weight capacity.
