Not Worth The Effort

Bought this back in October and only drove with it twice since then and I have already returned the item. It was laughably loose in the hitch, I'd have to alter either my hitch or the rack in order to get a locking hitch pin. The product does not have any locking capabilities, either to the vehicle or to the rack. I had to haul an ebike and a racing bike and I was never confident that my bikes would not get ruined. Do yourself a favor and avoid this rack at all costs. Spend the extra money to get the security features you need with at least the pro version of this.

Thule Doubletrack Xt Vs. Thule Doubletrack Pro Xt

Misleading. Thule does not have a Thule DoubleTrack XT on their website, it only has the Thule DoubleTrack PRO XT that comes with locks and tilts feature with the bikes loaded (huge feature missing in the Thule DoubleTrack XT). Did not realize the differences before I made the purchase, very disappointed.

Solid But Disappointed

I just bought this. The xt not the pro. Realized after getting it and driving back home an hour that it does not come with the lock cylinders or locking stabilizing pin. Looked up the pro and it shows it comes with it and tilts down for $50 more. I spent an additional 130 to get the pin and cylinders. Don't get this rack spend the extra 50 and get the one that comes with locks and tilts forward
