Lot Of Rust. No Warranty.

Got a first generation Motion XT box. A lot of rust developed on metal parts under the box. Thule denied all warranty claiming I should not use the box everyday, and should be stored in a garage most of the time. So have in mind this product is intended for light use, and no warranty is really applicable.

Great Box, Be Careful Of Freezing Locks

Box itself is great, holds plenty of gear and is completely silent on top of my Q3 on the highway. Took it out on a road trip on a very windy weekend and didn't feel or hear it at all. It ate up all my wet gear and was great to have it outside the car The lock situation has to knock off a star though. My first use was to take it skiing and the locks on both sides froze shut. There was some moisture in the air and it was 17 degrees out but having to spend 10 minutes thawing the locks so I could get into the box was not particularly fun and makes me nervous for using it for skis when it's really cold

1st Time Customer And Pleased

I purchased the Motion 3L for my MDX. The installation was quick and easy. It definitely gave us the extra cargo spaced needed for longer trips. My wife and I are extremely pleased with the esthetics of the product as I was a little concerned it would look to bulky. The only regret is I didn't go up one size to the XL.

Best Whistle Sound Ever!

Did great. Driving down the road and part of the rubber piece comes out and is lost forever. Unbeknownst to us the amazing whistle we got to enjoy on our 9 hour trip was due to this little event. In true Thule fashion there are no available replacements. Plus with the 1500 different options of bars and connectors and clamps and carriers there is no way to know which one you need. So I got to order numerous replacement pieces that still do not fit. Thx Thule! Great product about as well designed as what my 5 year old nephew would have come up with to attach a box to a rooftop!

Titan Grey Is Darker Than You Think

Bought the motion 3 size L titan grey to match my 2023 Honda hrv dark grey with wingbar edge bars and it couldn't have been a better fit size wise and color wise. Very pleased with the size and overall look on my HRV. The xl probably woulda fit but I have zero hang over the windshield with the Large and my entire quiver of skis fits in the large so why add the extra drag on my gas mileage if I dont have to. 4th box ive had and this one is definitely the nicest. Love the add on floor liner, light and 1 key setup with the bars. Install of bars and box took a little over an hour and did it alone. Very straight forward start to finish. Would only be happier if it was snowing!
