I was shocked how much gear I could secure in it. First trip had 5 pair of skis, poles, one snowboard, 5 helmets and miscellaneous gear. The box was super easy to install and secure on the standard roof rack. I am working on a padding system for the base. The tie downs were also a nice feature.

I've been using this box for 3 months now and have no complaints. I've got it on a 2021 Toyota Rav4 and keep my skis (xc, downhill and touring) in it, plus I can take 3 other people and their gear, too. It affects my gas mileage by probably 0.5L/100km or less and looks good. Very happy!

Good Storage But Loud
I'm happy with the purchase as it doest everything that it's supposed to. The box came in damaged and Thule was able to expedite the broken part.(They would not compensate for the innocence.) The storage is great and its very easy to use. My only complaint is that its very loud when you're driving more than 60 miles an hour. It sounds like you're driving with the windows open.

This was my first roof box purchase. So far, so good. I'm waiting for ski season to begin to give it the full review. I'm interested in seeing how we utilize the boxes capability of being opened/closed from both sides of the vehicle. Installation was super easy on top of the Evo Wing Crossbars. One aspect that I don't love is that I can't remove the key from the box in an "open" position (i understand this might be to eliminate the possibility of forgetting to lock the box). I would prefer the sleeker style of the Vector but at the cost of the Motion.

No Impact To Vehicle Performance.
I purchased the motion XT XL for a 5000 cross-country road trip. I held all of my extra gear and had virtually no impact to the performance of my Subaru Outback. By my rough calculations, I would estimate less than 1/2 MPG impact to gas mileage.
