The rack locks itself when tilted down in the load position. By gently pushing the handle down, the memory function activates which allows the user to let go of the handle and use both their hands to push the rack back up again

I’ve been really happy with the Thule ReVert. It does a great job of keeping the bikes secure while also protecting the frames, which was one of my biggest concerns when shopping for a rack. Love my new ReVert rack. It was simple to build and easy to load bikes on and off. My one issue I'm struggling with is I have an XL bike and when I pull the rack down the rear tire gets swished to the ground. I may need to look into a higher hitch mount.

Solid Rack That Is Very Easy To Use.

Solid rack that is very easy to use. Install was more complicated than needed due to directions that are purely picture based, I suggest looking at videos online. We have about 8 hours of driving around with 2-3 bikes so far and it has felt solid the whole time. Bikes go on and come off in ~1 minute/bike, super easy.

Best Vertical Mounted Rack I've Used!

I used to have a NorthShore 4 bike rack but had a couple complaints so ended up going back to a tray style rack. When this one was released, I had my eye on it and am glad I finally pulled the trigger! The only contact to the bike is on the wheels (rubber straps for the rims) and the bikes don't shift around at all! The spacing between the trays is excellent and loading/unloading is extremely easy. The cartridge lift support is interesting and I could take it or leave it but with 4 bikes it does help if you're shorter/smaller!

It's been great so far. fully loaded still space between bikes so no rubbing. Well built high quality product.
