Assembled, Installed And In Use In Under 15min

We bought this during Thule’s Memorial Day sale. We’ve been needing a bike carrier for our kids’ BMX bikes as we travel the region to the various competitions. Assembly wasn’t too difficult. Definitely easier with two people. We managed to have it all figured out, assembled, installed and loaded with bikes in under 15 minutes. It’s not exactly lite, but with the wheel system underneath, it does make it easier for one person to remove it from the hitch and wheel it into the garage when not in use. We’ve traveled several hundred miles so far without issues. The only semi-gripe I will state is that the built in cable lock system just doesn’t seem long enough to try and get wrapped around the frames of the bikes and back to the locking system to secure the bikes. I could quite possibly be doing it incorrectly but so far the only part of the bike it will work on are the wheels. We prefer the fram as the locking point since the wheels can be easily removed if someone has a couple tools with them. I’m sure the cable can be cut just as easy.

Expensive, but rock solid. Once bikes are locked in they are secure. Love the integrated cable lock, woah they were longer. Tacoma tailgate hits by and inch, which is a total bummer but the rack has great clearance when off-roading.
