Great Value For A Fair Price

I bought this mount rack for the rear of my Toyota Grand Highlander to tow two adult sized bikes. The mount is very sturdy, and I love the cushions that provide scratck protection. Unlike most rear mounts, the support loops have a press and clip secure system, which I like better than the strapping system which usually has much slack that you will need to tie up. Bikes don't bounce as much as other mounts I have used, and the mount was easy to install.

Worth The Price To Me

Just bought today, pleasantly surprised. After reading all the reviews I was hesitant to even try it. After some adjustments and figuring out where I needed to hook everything it’s extremely sturdy and feels very secure! My only complaint is the actual straps that hold the bikes in place. They’re difficult to latch closed due to the thickness of the rubber they’re made of, I can see them breaking quickly especially if left to rot in the sun. For $120 and not many options without a hitch, not terrible.

I don’t know why people don’t like this rack. It works really well and you can adjust the position of the attachment points for the bikes very easily. Also fits a compact SUV

Bicycle Stuff

Great bicycle stuff. Good for moving bikes to the ocean, lakes, rivers or parks.

Strap Holders Broke Two Weeks After Using This.

"BUYER BEWARE ". So this was extremely easy to install but sadly the ribber straps that hold the bike down broke randomly. They started to tear and then fell off. Wish they were like traditional straps and locked in. Instead you put the square rubber piece into a hole to lock the bike in but the nub that locks it in randomly fell off. So I wouldn't buy this rack for that reason alone. Dicks don't care about any product breaking and refused a refund. BUYER BEWARE.

Works Just Fine

I was apprehensive to buy this bike rack after reading some of the reviews, but bought it anyway since it was a better price and fit my needs. After reading the directions once I can now put the bike rack on no problem. Once on and secured, it stays in place well and is not scratching the paint on my highlander (that I can see anyway). I don't go very far, but that's more because of how close the spots I go are than a lack of trust in the product. I gave 4 stars because one of my strap mounts came installed backwards which I had to correct and because the extra on the straps needs a better way to be secured. I am using an suv and I still have feet of extra and no real way secure the excess other than tie it around the bike rack. Other than that the rack works just fine.

Not Stable

Read the reviews before purchasing. As much as you size and adjust the rack - it is not stable at all. As you’re driving - it feels like your bike will fall off. The straps are not heavy duty.

Waste Of Money

There are bolts with very sharp heads exposed very close to where the bikes mount and they scratch the bikes every time I put them on, despite trying to be careful to avoid them. The bikes are cosmetically damaged as a result. When I bought a new bike from the local bike shop, they inspected the rack and pointed out that part of it was installed backwards at the factory. It's riveted on so there's no way to fix it. It's so bad the bike mechanic actually scratched the new bike putting it on this rack. They suggested I submit a warranty claim to Thule. Thule requires proof of purchase for warranty claims, and even though I only purchased it about 6 months ago, I no longer have the receipt, so this was a complete waste of money. Maybe other Thule products are better quality, but this has left a bad enough taste in my mouth that I'll never buy anything from them again.

Nice rack for my sedan. Was easy to i stall, once I figured out how to do it. There were no instructions in the box...probably a return. YouTube helped.

Great For The Weekend Warrior

I bought this about a month ago and it was worked really well. It handles highway travel on my little Ford Fusion and doesn't prevent trunk usage. A little complex to put together but overall decent product.
