Great Product

I’ve owned Thule racks before and never had issues so I bought this one based on previous experience. I’m glad I did, it was easy to put together and its first install on the vehicle was easy enough. I put two heavy beach cruiser bikes on it and it handled the weight easily. Probably could not fit a third adult cruiser on it, but a kids bike could or three mountain or road style bikes would likely fit. Great purchase.

Cannot Hold 3 Bike

This rack does not hold 3 bikes, whether adults or kids. You can only fit 2 bicycles.

Doesn't Fit Womens/kids Bikes Without $70 Extender Bar

Bike rack is fine, but for a women's bike or kids bike -- if you want it to fit properly you are supposed to by a $70 extender bar (for each bike). I've been able to rig it so my son's bike will fit without the bar but it is more difficult to get it on and probably less secure. So add that in to your calculation for how much this thing costs.

I bought this bike rack a few weeks ago despite some of the negative reviews and I'm glad i did. It was easy to assemble and install on the back of my car. I needed this bike rack to transport 3 bikes to a triathlon and it did a great job. The bike rack is well made and the 3 bikes were safe and secure. I definitely recommend this product.

Horrible Product

I RETURNED IT! I bought this rack yesterday and was unable to put my bike and my 2 kids bikes like it says you can. So I tried driving around with just my bike to see how product works and it was terrible. The way the straps are set up is not logical to keep the rack secured to your car. I had to tighten the straps multiple times while driving and when I got home and took the bike off I strap was starting to Frey and the so called rubber protected clips scratched up my trunk. DONT BUY THIS PRODUCTT!!! It is terrible and Thule customer service will not help you at all.

Horrible Attachments For Doors And Is Not Worth Any Penny.

I got last year and use only once, tried this year and they are really bad. I would like to return this craps

Thule Bike Rack

Easy to assemble and set up on my vehicle to transport 2 adult bicycles.

Worked Ok

Seemed like itd be a great bike rack for the price and ease of installation , they worked for my trip of 3k miles but by the end the arms that the bikes are held on were shaky with all the bikes weight on it, it was because the black plastic part had a small split in it. But they held my bikes up for the whole trip safely for the most part , i just didnt trust it afterwards from the shakiness it had it wasnt solid anymore when it had the weight of 3 bikes on it. Easy to install for the most part, straps tie down to the trunk of your car and frame rails in the bumper.. Load bikes up tie down and go.. Just as easy to take off works for multiple cars just have to adjust settings. Id try to get another again id just make sure the black plastic holders that say thule on it doesnt have a split in it.

This Will Not Hold 3 Bikes

We purchased this rack to carry our two mountain bikes and one road bike, but we have been utterly unable to fit all three bikes on at the same time.

Does Not Fit!

Conceptually, a high quality product made by a trusted brand... BUT the arms are too far apart and do not fit my bike. I am a 5' 11" man with a large bike, and my bike will not fit on this for the life of me, let alone friends/ family members' bikes that are any smaller than mine. A swing and a miss.

It Works But…

Couldn’t fit 3 bikes on the rack at once. Also it played havoc with the lift gate sensors which was a deal breaker for me. Returned after 2 uses

Damaged Door

I used this to transport a mountain bike locally with no problems. Took it in a 3,000 mile drive through national parks and it held the bike securely but damaged my trunk. It was too heavy with the bike for my Honda CRV door. Also broke the motor on my back windshield wiper because it interferes and the auto wipers don’t know to turn off. This is probably all user error but still disappointed.

Bad Design

There's one strap that goes like an L and hooks from the side of the trunk, thru the bike rack, then down to hook at the bottom of the trunk. (same for the other side) So if you hit a bump, it will come loose from 1 spot which makes all 4 points loose!! And the only part holding the rack on is from the top, leaving the bikes to sway back and forth. This design makes no sense at all. And I did have someone at a bike store look at it, so it's not user error
