Top Notch Product Quality And Easy Installation

Excellent product, very easy to install. My wife has the same model that was purchased 6 years ago and it still looks as good as new. The plastics and finish on the aluminum parts are very durable and seem to handle the exposure to sun and harsh winters here in Canada where we live. This was being installed on a 2026 Kia Sportage with flush roof rails. I also learned the Portage canoe rack can be mounted via the T-slot on the Wingbar, which I only determined recently which is an added bonus because the Canoes are generally wider and require the supports under the canoe to be placed where the tower are positioned.

Very nice roof rack, easy to install. Didn't give a 5 star only because after tightening the screw on the rail feet with the torque wrench, after a while you will have to tighten the screws again. I put a line of blue thread lock to each and this seem to solved the problem. Overall satisfied with the purchase, expensive but you get what you paid for.

I bought the Wingbar Evo about three weeks ago and upgraded my existing Jeep brand roof rack; I am thrilled I did. The installation was easy; I encountered no issues. The instructions are easy to follow and straightforward. Although it sits a little higher than the original roof rack, I have no problems. I own a Thule Force Sport cargo box that I used with my old roof rack, but I didn't feel comfortable with it; this is much better. I have no whistling issues, as I read in reviews that people had. Follow the instructions, and you'll be okay; leave no gaps. Taking it off is a breeze; everything is inside the cargo box, ready for use.

Different T Slot

This new bar has a different T Slot than my old Thule Aero bar. It has a slot cover that is split down the middle so you don’t have to remove it for attachments. But this makes the slot lower and none of my current attachments (Rhino, Yakima and Thule) would fit. I had to get all new attachments. It doesn’t really seem any quieter or worth it.

Great Looking And Functional Bar, Just One Thing..

I have used other roof rack systems in the past, but with this car, I thought I would use the Thule brand. It is a great rack, easy to install, looks great and has minimal wind sound when driving at higher speeds. Only thing I thought was almost a joke is that for this price, it did not come with lock cores, but plastic fillers that look like locks that can be installed and removed with a regular screw driver. So I before fully installing the roof rack, I had to purchase the lock cores online. Otherwise I would say 5 stars.
