It was super easy to install. Not sure how some other reviews seemed to have installation issues? About as easy and straight forward as can be. Extremely sturdy and high quality product. Glad we spent the money on it. Worth every penny. Very quiet. At high speeds can barely note a slight increase in wind noise with sun shade back and radio off. With sun shade shut and/or radio on, no noticeable noise at all.

Quality As Expected From Thule!

Been using Thule products for many years, bought these rails for my new car and they were the quality I would expect (excellent). Many reviews complain about wind noise but with wind strips properly installed I can hardly hear the rails.

Quality And Quiet

I bought this rack specifically for the increased aerodynamics and the redused noise. The rack does not fulfill either of these "improvements". The noise, a hight pitched whine is so bad you will get a headache listening to it. I see no benefits in any change of wing resistance or gas milage. If you are carrying something on the rack it will not make any difference. If you try to attach any non-thule item for a rack that carries a crew shell, the wider bar does not work. And, as with others, the rubber stripping was flapping behind the car until it came flying off. I had to glue it so it would stay.

Worth It For The Quiet Ride!

I had previously purchased the square bars for my Jetta because I thought, how big a deal could it be!? Turns out, a BIG deal. The square bars whistled a LOT. So a few years went buy and I couldn't stand it so I bought these Evo bars and I finally feel relaxed when riding in the car with the box on top, even on the highway. Fun to install and so much more enjoyable. Wonderful bars and they look great too. HIGHLY recommend.
