I have 11 pairs of timberland boots/chukkas/sneakers etc. I have 1 pair of teva sandals as timberland does not offer closed toe. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 4th or 5th pair of Chocoruas and, hopefully, it won't be my last. I can't even remember how long ago I bought my first pair. They last me a couple of years of daily wear as hiking, work and casual boots. Two really good things about them are that they remain waterproof until I finally wear holes in the soles (LOL!!) and they never require any break-in for me. They are immediately comfortable from the first time I put them on. I wear them EVERY day, all day long and they take whatever I dish out as work boots (I work outdoors) or outdoors adventure boots from Kentucky, where I live, to the backcountry of Alaska.
