Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these boots! I bought the boots about a month ago and have worn them for two hikes. They are fabulous! Comfortable and the soles are like teeth that grab when I was climbing over rocks and ridges. Great purchase!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very comfortable boots, with great support. I have never owned a pair of true hiking boots before. I like the mid-ankle height. I will be travelling abroad within the next month, doing a lot of walking and touring, and wanted more than just a sneaker to walk in. I am breaking these in now, and they are so comfortable right out of the box. The foot cushion is excellent. Plus, the Timberland brand and reputation also was a factor in buying these specific boots.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Feet sore Used boots casually to get used to them. But the longer I wore them the more my heel bottoms starting hurting. The heel area seems wide in the boot without a nice snug fit. Also, there is little to no upper cushioning inside the shoe and back of heel very stiff with stitching just above the heel with softer material above the stitching. Later tried them for woods / trail hiking and then the back of my right heel started killing me. May have to push these shoes to the side. Tried to like them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointed Disappointed in two things. The size I normally wear in Timberland boots is a little large. Toe box is bigger than the others. The main disappointing fact though is the tongue. It is advertised as gusseted but is not. It is stitched at the bottom. Will not keep moisture or debris out.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not good Bought these boots because they were Timberline made hiking boots, ratings were good and the specification description said water proof. Tried them on when delivered and they ran large compared to other Timberline and other brands I have worn. Also, there was no water proof marking or tag. Also, there was no water proof liner in the boot, possibly explaining why they ran large. The tongue was not gusseted. It was only sown in below the lower lace. It had no material attaching the tongue to the shoe as you go up along the laces to help keep debris and water out as water proof hiking boots typically do. The one on the Timberline website has similar name, looks the same, and has the same list price, but it has the gusseted tongue and water proof liner. When I researched I did not see a boot with the same specs as mine listed on the Timberline website. I was very disappointed.
