[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wearing Timberland Mt. Madssen boots, Black and the Grey- with- orange - accents, year round for many years now. They are consistent in manufacture, breathe yet are waterproof, very comfortable, and about perfect in Men's 12. I ordinarily use a 1/8" simple plain thickness Spenco neoprene insole. When a pair is somewhat worn, I move it to be an outdoor gardening or winter shoveling duty pair. I have pairs in 2 locations doing those outdoor duties. The Black take black wax shoe polish well and can be revitalized a number of times with that. The grey - with- orange pretty much look good for a long time and their laces are a cool fine check grey -and- orange too. The laces are overlong, so I pull about 8" forward at the boot front,, cut the middle with scissors, tie a tighr square knot, trim the extra from the ends, melt the fringe ends with a match to prevent fraying, and put a drop of glue on the knot to stabilize it. My all-the-time footwear, Year-round in Massachusetts.
