Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best. Boots. Ever. I got these boots over a year ago. They've worn like iron. The soles are lasting longer than the upper. And the upper is just now starting to show signs of wear and tear. I've worn these from everyday casual boots to out on the farm to in the woods logging to driving truck. I truly don't believe there's a job these boots can't handle. The only con I have about them and it's not even a big deal is that if you don't get the tounge just right the upper digs into your shin. Simple fix of untying and readjusting fixes it. I couldn't be happier with these boots. They've outlasted several pairs of Redwings and other "high end" boots that my peers have worn.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I LOVE THESE BOOTS - EVEN AFTER 3 YEARS OF HEAVY USE! I have many feet problems and have tried many types of shoes and boots and inserts and things to ease my heel/foot pain. I bought these boots and these are absolutely the BEST boots I have ever worn. My foot pain was gone a couple weeks after wearing these boots. I am a big woman and sometimes work 12 hour days. These boots are comfortable the whole time and never make my feet feel hot. They are waterproof and the workmanship is superb. Also, as a woman, these boots make my feet look smaller than what they are. That is a big plus for me. These boots are so well made, that I have to purchase a new set of Timberland Pro Insoles for them as the other insoles have worn out after three years of heavy use, and yet, the boots are in excellent condition!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just bought my second pair I had to find them online, but was glad to see that they were still available. The first pair came from a store shelf more than three and half years ago. I put in some long days (and nights) indoors and out, in all kinds of weather year round, and I appreciate things that I can rely on day in and day out and these shoes did not disappoint. This is the first time I've gone out of my way to find a specific shoe but I was impressed enough to look for another pair.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Quality, Left boot coming apart This is the first pair of Timberlands that I have been disappointed in. The stitching on the toe started coming apart at 3 months and now at 8 months the left boot has the safety toe exposed. The glue holding the toe cap in place has failed and the cap is separating form the boot. I have attached a picture so that you can see what the boot will do. For the price, you would expect these to last at least a year before they started falling apart, but these didn't last 6 months and I don't wear them every day to make it even worse.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from STYLISH YES BUT POOR QUALITY I really liked these shoes (very little breakin) until they started to come unsewn on the side leather near the toe cap after only 8 months. These shoes were fairly expensive, therefore I believe they should be of better quality and last longer. I am not that hard on my shoes. My previous pair of Timberland Pros, different style, lasted nearly 2 years. I wish I could predict whether this was just a poorly stitched pair of boots or are they all like this. I am very disappointed and am going to try another brand next time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Backstory: I have two different back injuries, both ankles are junk, and a job where I walk 7-8 miles a day on average. Not the best career choice, eh? I spend most of my days on uneven terrain, ladders, and climbing poles rain or shine with 25-50 lbs of tools on me and I weigh 250 myself. Bottom line, I love these boots. I've put about 2000 miles on them (had them about a year) and my feet stay dry and comfortable in the winter and cooler than most waterproof boots in the summer. I'll be buying another pair as soon as these wear out, but they are still in pretty good shape at the moment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Light, Solid, Breathable, but.. I build hydro high voltage sub stations. Terrible ground surface. Pacific north west, so in 40c this summer and heavy rain this fall. I am at risk of athlete's foot so this boot being light, breathable and tough looking stood out. I also prefer textiles over leather as in motorbiking a superior product over leather can be produced. The boot has been fine as I watched my co workers boots slowly blew apart (leather and very popular brands). In general unfortunately, boots last six months here. I just noticed a crack of failure in the inseam plastic/rubber. I'm trying a expanding glue. This problem affects the waterproofing which in these downpours is important. I like these boots and hope you guys to keep improving on the durability of the boot.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Good looks, bad adhesive Had this pair of boots going on 2 years now. Break in period took the longest of any boots I have worn, nearly 2 months. Countless blisters later the boots finally listened to my feet. Unfortunately, the cloth on the insoles had entirely come off by then. Another 4 months down the line the toe of the sole of the shoe began coming off. Used shoe goo to reattach the toe, then the heels did the same thing. By a years time the leather itself had entirely split from wear and tear along the outside side of the foot. Another few months and the sole on the other boot is beginning to detach.
