Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best. Boots. Ever. I got these boots over a year ago. They've worn like iron. The soles are lasting longer than the upper. And the upper is just now starting to show signs of wear and tear. I've worn these from everyday casual boots to out on the farm to in the woods logging to driving truck. I truly don't believe there's a job these boots can't handle. The only con I have about them and it's not even a big deal is that if you don't get the tounge just right the upper digs into your shin. Simple fix of untying and readjusting fixes it. I couldn't be happier with these boots. They've outlasted several pairs of Redwings and other "high end" boots that my peers have worn.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great boot but had factory defect top I wanted a good hiking boot that provides support yet is waterproof and warm. The boots broke in easily with thick socks. My only criticism was the mesh at the top collar of the boot frayed from where it was seamed into the collar. I feel this is a factory manufacturing error and was pleased that my local shoe store immediately took the boots back under warranty after one week. I eagerly await my new replacement pair. Buying from a local vendor may cost a bit more, but one cannot beat the personal relationship whereby the merchant stands behind and supports the product and ultimately, his customer!. Support your local merchants whenever possible.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I LOVE THESE BOOTS - EVEN AFTER 3 YEARS OF HEAVY USE! I have many feet problems and have tried many types of shoes and boots and inserts and things to ease my heel/foot pain. I bought these boots and these are absolutely the BEST boots I have ever worn. My foot pain was gone a couple weeks after wearing these boots. I am a big woman and sometimes work 12 hour days. These boots are comfortable the whole time and never make my feet feel hot. They are waterproof and the workmanship is superb. Also, as a woman, these boots make my feet look smaller than what they are. That is a big plus for me. These boots are so well made, that I have to purchase a new set of Timberland Pro Insoles for them as the other insoles have worn out after three years of heavy use, and yet, the boots are in excellent condition!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just bought my second pair I had to find them online, but was glad to see that they were still available. The first pair came from a store shelf more than three and half years ago. I put in some long days (and nights) indoors and out, in all kinds of weather year round, and I appreciate things that I can rely on day in and day out and these shoes did not disappoint. This is the first time I've gone out of my way to find a specific shoe but I was impressed enough to look for another pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome Backstory: I have two different back injuries, both ankles are junk, and a job where I walk 7-8 miles a day on average. Not the best career choice, eh? I spend most of my days on uneven terrain, ladders, and climbing poles rain or shine with 25-50 lbs of tools on me and I weigh 250 myself. Bottom line, I love these boots. I've put about 2000 miles on them (had them about a year) and my feet stay dry and comfortable in the winter and cooler than most waterproof boots in the summer. I'll be buying another pair as soon as these wear out, but they are still in pretty good shape at the moment.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent Shoes with great support I bought these boots mainly for work wear, I loved them so much that now I use them for everything else. They took about a week to break into properly but now they feel great. I have flat feet and I use extra insoles in addition to Timberland insoles, but they are comfortable by themselves. I have used these with great satisfaction for hiking, horse riding and general work. I am training for Everest Base-camp Trek and I am going to use these for it as well. I strongly recommend these if you need some comfortable boots for hiking or any similar activity. I have not used them in snow, so that would be something to consider if you are going on a snowy adventure. Sizing info: I usually need 12.5 wide when purchasing sports shoes but I bought these in 12 medium and they fit perfectly. I have observed this difference between all shoes and boots.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from These boots started coming apart the 2nd day in the field. Not good for real work boots. Started separating after 2 days use in the field.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good boot on the correct feet. This boot is a Timberland product. That says a lot. I wish this boot had fit me properly because the cushioning performance was excellent. This boot has a lot of volume inside. I selected a size 11 which is what I normally wear, in the Medium width. I developed hot spots and blisters from the looseness from the beginning. I believe that normal use of this boot would produce excellent results. I would recommend this boot to anyone who gets the right fit for your feet. I was using them more for a performance boot rather than a work boot so my fit issues were different than the guy who wears them for work purposes. I would not hesitate to purchase another Timberland product. They have always worked very well for me.
