Rated 1 out of 5 by from Warranty better than the construction I barely had them out of the box and had a lace eyelet break. I had to pay for the shipping back to Timberland for their quality problem well outlined in these reviews. While they look nice and are comfortable, better value exists elsewhere.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect for the job I use these boots on the job. They're comfortable and worth every penny if you need long lasting comfort on the job as well as your feet.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor Build One of the lace eyelet/grommets came unfastened from the boot leather the second time I pulled these on. My use scenario is 80%/20% seated/walking, so this is an inexcusable failure as far as I'm concerned. The greater issue is, if such a small part failure occurred so early on, what might happen with the construction as a whole?

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Plastic Eyelets Not Holding Up The eyelets for the laces on my first pair separated within the first year of wearing these. Timberland Customer Service was very good and I received a second set at no cost. 8 months later they are doing the same thing. Different eyelets on both boots are separating from the leather. I have a different set of Tim. Pro's in brown with metal eyelets that are older and have had no issues. These are the most comfortable boots I have owned for long term use on concrete flooring. Sizing always seems big and I have to order a whole size smaller than normal. I have contacted Timberland again to see how much they will stand behind their product.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from miss the hooks to begin I work in construction/service field and am very hard on my boots so the cons are more for the hoping for improvements in future additions rather then hatting. no boot latst to long for me and my only pair so far lasted a good year under rough ussage before the heals started falling apart. now its time to replace them. the single set of hooks which i love and dont seem to be one the new ones, cracked off around 3mth one on each side and around one year one feel complettly out. the water proofing was ecclent and lasted to around 7-9 mths. i stood in 3-4inches of water and never got wet, very cool. comfort level stayed great till the end 5stars there very breathable which suprised me considering how breathable the were. con i cant read the size on my old boots because it never said it not because its vanished and i dont know if i originally ordered the wide or extrawide im pretty sure i ordered the 12wide but somtimes i order a 10.5extra wide in shoes.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Better before I wore these in a metal stamping plant. Unfortunately the draw lube destroys the sole. The fact that my company reimburses me annually is the only reason I got a 2nd pair. Which on the replacement pair they changed the upper hooks to eyelets which make more difficult to put on & take off. Also in 2weeks those upper eyelets began coming apart. The sole did begin to crack at the ball of the foot after 8-10 mo. After 1 yr they were trashed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from great boots...... These are a second set of the style boot a have purchased for work. Normally lasting about 2 years in harsh work conditions. Both having the same issues. I bought the second set figuring that timberland had fixed the issues with them. My issues with booth pairs of boots as been the plastic pieces where the laces go thru keep on coming off. The first pair was about after 14 months of use, the new set was after 3days of use. Not very happy with them. Called timberland and they said to return where I got hem from. No way to do business. Unless they fix this set of boots I wont be returning for more.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Two bad experiences Bought my first pair and was very happy with the boot but after three weeks the fabric on the inside for the heel ripped apart completley into the composite material, after getting them exchanged and receiving the newer version with the added hook between the second and third lace, the stitching for where the tongue meets the boots were done so poorley that it had started to dig right into my ankle leaving me very uncomfortable and very sore and to top it off because they added that extra hook they did not increase the length of the laces to compinsate for the extra distance you use with the hook. They are a great boot but you got a fifty/fifty chance of getting a good pair.
