Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love the boot, hate the outsole I am a railroad conductor. My job requires me to walk on pretty good sized rock all day. That being said I love this boot, but I only get a good 4-6 months out of it. 6 may be pushing it. It feels great out of the box. I don't know if they would last longer in a different working environment, but the rocks I walk on eat them up quick. I wish I could get longer use out of them, I like them when they're new. My feet have never gotten wet in them, they are a little warm to me, but over all I'd recommend them.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Fix the known issues! Listen to your cus I was promised after trying other brand boots, these would be the most comfortable boots I ever wore, or money back, even after 30 days. On THAT they delivered. But the plastic eyelets are a joke and start popping out after the first week. The triangle string loop shreds the strings. This is not rocket science! Put a round or D ring in it's place! And fix the eyelets! And on my newest pair, the composite toe is coming out on the inside. I have been told they will warranty all three pair. We will see!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Comfortable Boot but not holding up to standard I live in eastern Ohio . I am in the construction trade and wear a lot of work boots. I bought these boots about 8 months ago in Feb. They were and still are one of the most comfortable boots I have purchased . But , after about 3 months of wearing them, the shoe lace holes started breaking. found that they are made of plastic . Also , the sole is wearing out quickly and has chunks out of it . Not sure that i would recommend these boots for someone in construction, depending on the kind of work you do . I am very disappointed that these boots are falling apart , I always thought that Timberland boots made a very good product . Not sure why they would use plastic for the shoe lace holes on a work boot .

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Railroad Workers Dream Boilermaker for railroad. Stand for hours on concrete floor in locomotive shop. Super Comfortable from day one. After getting submerged in water, couldn't get them to completely dry out, they smelled like mildew for months. Lower cushioning not removable trapping moisture. Overall a great boot, just keep them dry and expect to replace the insoles every 8 months like my RR brother said.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great boot with one drawback This is a comfotable boot. The insole lasts about 8 months and you will need to replace it. The eyelets and hooks are plastic so they will either come loose or break over time. The overall construction is great. I work for a railroad and the ballast doesn't chew up the soles as near as fast as lug soles. I'm a road conductor and I can't vouch for there durability on a yard job though.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Very comfortable, Cheap eyelets. I bought my first pair for work because of the promised comfort. They were so comfortable I bought a second pair one month later for casual wear. After a couple of months and wearing aproximately 10 times the second pair had one of the plastic triangles break. After 6 months the original pair I wear to work daily had one of the top hooks fall out. I am very disappointed with the quality.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't buy these boots! These boots are junk and timberland refused to help me when they broke. These boots were issued to me by my employer. The first time I put them on the lacing system failed. It is made of cheap plastic. 3 out of 4 of the speed lace hooks have failed. Worse yet, when I called to request a solution from timberland, they basically said it wasn't their problem since the boots were purchased over a year ago. Even though they hadn't been used.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is my fourth pair of these boots. Great boots. This is my fourth pair of these boots. I work oilfield and have to replace them every 9 months or so but I'm also very hard on my boots. But I've owned danner and red wing boots and I pay about half the price for these even tho the boots last half the time
