Rated 1 out of 5 by from Don't do it Bought a pair today. Got home and tried to put them on and break them in or see how they felt just walking around the house and the eyelet broke when lacing them up tight for the first time....had to return same day.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Timberland Pro Endurance 6" Soft Toe This model is terrible for me. I have owned many other pairs of Timberland without an issue. This boot make my feet sweat terribly, the toe roof rubs holes in my socks every day. Where the leather/toe guard/sold come together on the inside left and right boot have separated. I am returning these boots as defects

Rated 5 out of 5 by from the best I was never a fan of timberland old style work boots they always hurt my feet, but these boots are the best footwear i have ever worn. I have been in construction for 35 years and after wearing them for the last two weeks for an average of 70 plus hours the only part of my body that is not beat up are my feet and legs.If you work on your feet all day under extreme condition or not, BUY THESE BOOTS. Worth every penny.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from very unhappy Very unhappy with the purchase of the boots I bought they didn't even last 4 months and wish I hadn't spent almost $200 for them... will never buy another pair of your boots!!!!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Quite Honestly... I have a problem. I have always been brand loyal to Timberland and purchased these for "job-site" use. As many consumers, I purchased the boots and threw away all packaging. The FIRST day I wore them on the job I found there was an imperfection in the toe of the boot. Specifically, the left boot has extra material on the roof of the toe area which applies uncomfortable and unnecessary pressure to the top on the large toe. At the end of the day, the large toe on the left foot had become black & blue. Before you ask, the right foot was fine.... comfortable. So I stuck my hand in both boots to find the inside roof of the right boot smooth... the left felt as if it had a manufacturing defect. I tried wearing the boots a second day, with thinner socks to only experience the same results. In all fairness, I have not yet reached out to Dick's or Timberland yet to remedy the issue.... If I was reviewing the right foot alone.... the score would be stellar.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from a quality boot the boots have many features that are in the description and all of those are up to par but the only things you dont really get to know are how wonderfully comfy they are and how deceivingly thick the soles are (although for a short guy such as myself thats a plus) aside from all of the pros the only real con is the weight they are fairly heavy and bulky because of the thick soles but to me it wasnt enough to make them too cumbersome or remotely uncomfortable. In short great boot well worth it since my last pair lasted over a year and a half of job sites.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great boot for the money They are a bit heavy on your foot but the comfort is among the best I've ever worn. I am on my feet 12 hours a day and can say my feet never bothered me wearing these boots at the end of the day. They feel like a heavy sneaker. These boots lasted me a bit over 2 years and I work in construction so that says a lot. I'm 6'3" 240lbs so not light on my feet by any means. I finally tossed these in the trash the other day and replaced with a pair of Red Wings. Can't wait to compare the two over the long haul. As it stands, I definitely recommend the Timberland Pro series work boot.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Heavy & a bit ugly, but comfy and dry OK, the headline pretty much says it. The boots are quite heavy, but that really isn't felt while wearing them. It is felt every time you pick them up. However, if you need to defend yourself or are a viscious bully, then the heft helps. The ugly factor stems from the black rubber front & back. I understand that this probably improves the durability of the boot, and therefore it's lifespan, but I would rather buy new boots a year earlier and just have nice leather all around. These boots basically can't decide if they are daily wear boots, or outright workboots. The sole is pretty non-slip but not with deep channels that provide more stability at the cost of dragging mud into your house. These will shed their mud with a few kicks of the stairs or curb. The sole insert has a lot of air pockets, like a golfball but much deeper. They seem to keep air circulating within the boot as you walk and the result is nice dry feet. You can wear them all day and your feet will love them. Shoveling snow - feet stay warm & dry. Wearing them all day indoors - not overly warm & still dry. Need to run, no prob, the ankle gives enough support but doesn't hinder movement. Awesome lace-up, the top few posts allow you to either keep the laces off the posts for easier entry/exit and then go around them for a quick tie. Or you can permanently run the laces through holes in the posts to retain the laces at all times, which slows down entry/exit, but if you just slip them on, you won't trip on the laces. All in all I would recommend, but would rather have the same boots without the black rubber bumpers and maybe a pound lighter (each).
