Rated 5 out of 5 by from Purchased 3 years ago. 1st year was in a machine shop running 2 machines seperate from each other. Lot sof walking. 2nd year driving semi. 3rd year I was told shoes dont last only 6-8 month becuase of the coolant and stepping up and down steel grated steps. I setup and run a large VTL cnc machine. Shoes started taring inside liner on back heal area. They oulated teh other guys who ran this machine. Iadded a insole jell pab shortly after I got them due to loose fit when walking. Width is good. I tried 1/2 size smaller and they were too tight at time of purchase. I do a lot of walking in slippery areas. They are worth buying again. Out lasted all my other shoes. 2-1/2 to 3 times longer

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good, solid shoe. I work doing maintenance in a machine shop currently but started buying these shoes about 6 years ago when I worked in a book bindery. These shoes hold up well to a moderate industrial environment with lots of standing and walking. I do recommend putting a set of decent insoles in your work shoes, no matter what brand they are for the added comfort. I typically wear a pair of these until they have holes in them. I tend to get 2 years out of 1 pair of shoes. I like the sneaker look and the lighter feel than a full-out work boot. I'll probably keep buying these until they quit making them. Good value for the price.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not a work boot/shoe hybrid These were perfect shoes, I thought, a hybrid between a work boot and a tennis shoe. I work in a metal fab shop that involves 4 miles of walking each day. After the first month I noticed a small tear on the side of the shoe. The cause looks as if one shoe is a little wider which causes a bulge of material off the side that eventually separated and now 2 months later there is a hole that my sock can be seen through. I have bought Timberland Pro's for about 7 years, there has never been a time that I would not recommend the same pair of shoes to a potential buyer until now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from That is why I am here, to find it again :) I used them in a freezer warehouse, plastic molding manufacturing plant, chicken hobby farm, and metal fabricating manufacturing plant. The only con I have to say about the shoe is the internal cloth wore out on me after extensive use, but which shoe wouldn't after (5+) years of use. Best work shoes I've ever bought, and yes these beat out my Redwing boots.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Horrible shoe I was a VERY loyal user of timberland pro, this shoe specifically, for MANY years. NOT ANYMORE! For reasons I think I know, but can only speculate on, Timberlake has moved production of this shoe from China to Bangladesh. This shoe went from an AMAZINGLY comfortable and well made shoe to a poor fitting, cheap feeling shoe! I even exchanged them a couple times thinking maybe I just got a fluke bad pair....didn't work! I've never had a work shoe that hurt my feet as much as these did! I even tried contacting Timberland by email and received NO response at all! Extremely disappointed in these awful shoes.
