Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not for me This is my first pair of Titans, purchased only because Timberland discontinued my beloved Ratchet model. I bought them 3 weeks ago and am still breaking them in, unlike the Ratchets which I could immediately wear comfortably for a 12 hour shift. The Titans feel great on my soles but chaff the top of my arches and at the ankles if I wear them fully laced, which I prefer for ankle stability in uneven terrain. Over the years I've gone through 4 pairs of Timberlands Ratchet model but I probably won't get another pair of Titans.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not for me I'm a correctional officer. I put in 8 and 16 hour days. I walk about 6-12K steps per day on average. I'm afraid these boots didn't work for me. They don't seem to have to cushion to the footbed I'm used to with the other brand I've worn for the past six years. I have a $200 stipend every two years so I bought 2 pairs. One pair the sole at the heel is not fully attached to my best guess. It makes a sticking squeeze sound on every step. That won't work for me! The other pair I wore for two weeks. The feel never changed. Solé doesn't have the cushion/support I'm used to. The back of my heel started to rub pretty bad the last time I wore them. They should get more comfortable with wearing not less. Overall a good boot I think. Just not for me. I was hopefully. I've worn Bates Durashocks side zippers and have loved them except they are men's boots and a bit too much width for me creating corns on the pads on my feet over time. I was tired of that and was looking for a women's boot that would not be as wide. These are not them. Sorry Timberland. I was truly hopeful!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I would by this again. Plenty of toe room and comf6 I'm on my feet for 10 hrs or more. These boots are comfortable from the start. My second pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love them year after year I buy a pair of these every year for work. They fit true to size and have no break in period. The boots are no nonsense work boots that hold up well and do the job they were designed for. I love that they are black and look normal as opposed to having pink, purple, or teal on them. The only minor con is that the insert doesn't quite cut it for me and I upgrade them. Other than that, I love them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from quite comfortable ! I purchased these because I was so happy with the last pair I had (a different style). The only issue I have with this pair my feet DID become cold in the weather (it was about 20 degrees outside, and I was out for about 2 hours). I also did NOT have a big difference between these and the medium width (I ordered these in the wide width). If I was to wear extra thick socks or multiple pairs they could be uncomfortable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Most comfortable work boot I love these boots!! I have tried many other brand work boots and none come close to the comfort these provide. They look good and aren't super heavy like some other brands. I can wear them for 14 hrs straight and not feel discomfort. Wish they made this style waterproof.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from substandard soles ZERO STARS. These "work boots" do not even rate one star. Unfortunately the form will not allow me to be honest. If you're looking for fashion boots that you do not intend to use for actual work, then these are for you. However, if you are looking for sturdy shoes from ankle to sole, then, look elsewhere. The problem lies in the sole which is so thin and flimsy, I could feel the textured surface I was walking on! I could feel the contour of the shovel top as I pushed it into the dirt! That should not happen in a work boot. A work boot should feel supportive and give you confidence that, no matter the job, they won't fall apart. I could tell that soon the soles would wear through and fall off. Not only would I not recommend them, I would suggest buying boots from another company. Timberland has gone downhill. These boots do not measure up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Favorite Boot Yet! Finicky Feet I will buy these boots over and over as long as they keep making them. I have never had a better boot! My feet are very sensitive and I had searched all over for a boot my feet like. I found them 3 years ago when I bought this boot. I have already bought another pair. The first pair lasted 2.5 years before I considered replacing them.
