Rated 5 out of 5 by from Years of Comfort Have used these boots in the automotive industry (2.5 years) and in a warehouse (1.5 years) standing/walking on concrete or gravel for approximately 8 to 14 hours a day. Very comfortable. I have been able to unlace only the top of the boot for 4 years and just pop the boot right off. Very convenient! Works great on water, oil, and grease. Still pretty slippery on transmission fluid and coolant. No issues while lifting heavy items or climbing. After 4 years of use I noticed that there is a crack on the bottom of the left sole and that there is almost no traction left. Time for another pair! Hopefully the new ones will last as long as the old ones. :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My fourth pair I work in a refinery and am on my fourth pair of these boots. I recommend them to all the new women I work with when they get their safety shoes. The sole has great traction for slippery, muddy, or uneven environments and the ankle support is good. There is no break in period and the boots are ready to go out of the box. The boots wear well and, while not waterproof, can keep feet dry in deep puddles for a short time. I have high arches and replace the insole with a drugstore brand running insole that provides more support, but women with average arches may not need this modification.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not for me This is my first pair of Titans, purchased only because Timberland discontinued my beloved Ratchet model. I bought them 3 weeks ago and am still breaking them in, unlike the Ratchets which I could immediately wear comfortably for a 12 hour shift. The Titans feel great on my soles but chaff the top of my arches and at the ankles if I wear them fully laced, which I prefer for ankle stability in uneven terrain. Over the years I've gone through 4 pairs of Timberlands Ratchet model but I probably won't get another pair of Titans.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these boots! I've been wearing this particular boot for years. Got a pair off the shoe truck at work and been buying the same thing ever since. As with a lot of new shoes, the don't get REALLY comfortable until you've broken them in some. I slosh around in some water and mud and keep rolling. They clean right up and continue to take a beaten. They are an excellent boot and I will continue to buy this boot as long as I have to wear safety boots. I haven't found anything else that compares.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These boots are AMAZING! I have had my pair for four years working in the EMS field. In snow and muck I slip them on with a pair of fuzzy socks and my feet have stayed warm and dry all winter long. I have broken down the backs slidding them on and off with just the bottom laced and they always pop back. These boots are by far the most comfortable pair of shoes I own. Light weight can't even tell they are a steel toe. When I first bought them I had been on my feet all day in another pair of boots and my dogs were tired. I slipped into these and my feet said 'thank you!'

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Wide Was Too Narrow I know I shouldn't be surprised since, in my opinion, it's incredibly hard to find decent women's work boots, but these got good reviews, so I figured I'd give them a shot. I ordered a 7.5 Wide. They were narrower than my medium width Carhartts. The leather was nice, but not for a work boot. Very soft, not very tough. Absolutely no support anywhere in the shoe. I think they'd be good if you aren't working in an industrial setting and have fairly narrow feet. I'd rather deal with the occasional heel blisters from my current boots than have my toes on top of one another.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Boots Ever! I already had a pair, (recieved as gift). I no longer work, so I gave them to my daughter who, works at a "slag-pile plant". No rips, tears other than a few scuffs. She wanted a second, (just in case) pair. These boots are the best, hands down! I would never even think of buying any other brand. They last and last and last.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVED THESE BOOTS I worked on a trail crew in the Adirondacks for 5 months with these boots and they were great! Other crew members, also had timberland work boots and also loved them. These boots were durable through 5 straight months of hard work and hard wear. Good not only for working, but also comfortable enough to hike long distances-- I even like them better than the expensive hiking boots I have. Helped me stay on my feet hiking and carrying equipment up steep and slick wet rock faces. Kept my feet dry in rain and shallow water. Highly recommended!
