Less bulky than a traditional hiking boot, but no ankle coverage. Fit: On the narrower side, so if you have wide feet definitely choose the Wide version. Overall, pretty comfortable and don't require any breaking in. Color: I have the Natural Mesh color which is very neutral and earthy. I love these shoes! I use them casual hikes and outdoor activities.
