Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good tour profile iron with forgiveness. I bought these a year ago and have been very happy with them. I’m a 5 handicap and wanted a tour look iron while standing over it with some forgiveness. I’m getting older and the clubs are a bit strong. I’m able to get the 4 iron out there to 215 yards with a well struck ball so they pick up about 5-10 yards for me that I might have lost due to age. These are nice clubs that could fit a wide range of players. I can see a lower handicap player enjoying them and they also have enough forgiveness for the mid handicaper. They are not forged so if you must have a forged feel you will need to go with the AP2...

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just what I expected This review is for the Titleist AP3 irons with regular flex. Everything standard. Clubs were used for 8 rounds before writing this review. I have been golfing for a while and was ready to upgrade from an older set of Improvement Irons to these players distance irons. I had played a round with a demo set at our local course prior to buying and was very surprised at the improved accuracy of the clubs, the stopping power on the greens and the added 10 yards each club delivered. Ball flight is relatively straight, medium to high and with much less run out then my older set. I was able to work shots right and left but straight ball flight (off line shots or not) seemed to be norm. I got fitted at our local Golf Galaxy, purchased the clubs there and never looked back. I have a slower swing speed then most (70-72 mph on monitor using 7 iron) and get the following distance on average: 4 iron - 190 - 200 yrd, 5 iron 180 - 190 yds, 6 iron 170-180, 7 iron 155-165, 8 iron 140-150, 9 iron 130-140 and pw (volkey) 120. I would recommend these clubs to a friend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from AP3 Legit!!! I was tired of my Ping game improvement fatty's... My AP3's are super nice to look down at.. They defiantly taught me off the back how not to hit them lol. But they sound and feel great when you hit them in the sweet spot. Not a good iron set for someone starting out.. But a great set even if you're a weekend warrior.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing These clubs are legit. Incredibly nice to look down at. They also feel great when you hit one down the center. Although I will say, the lifts are a little weird. 43 degree PW takes some time to get used to. Kinda messed up the gaps in my bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Irons Best Irons I have owned. I have played that AP3 irons almost daily (sometimes two or three times a day) since labor day of 2018. Honestly, I love these irons. 48 Gap Wedge is easy to control and accurate up to about 120 yards, nice fly and ball height almost on a dime with excellent spin. PW is easy is quite accurate, if you wanna hit the typical 154 yard par 3 (typically with 9) but the flag is at the front of the green, nice pure hit and your there, love the 9. I just hit the 9 from 170 today a little to the right of the green. My fault though, hit it off the toe and it is dark. 8 is nice, Ill use it for the 150-180 range shots depending on lie, it is great out of the rough. 7 iron will go 200 yards accurately if on keep a good grip. If you trying to choke out your iron forget it, you will only get about 150. 4,5,6 are good long irons. any where from punch shots or if you wanna lay it up around a dogleg this is it. Honestly, I will take the 7 over the six for the second shot of a 500 plus par 5. But if I am behind a tree with 150-170, I'm using the six, it will pick it up quick with great height and distance. I switched to a corded midsize grip the day I bought them. The irons do have some forgiveness. Like I said, I can hit it off the toe and only lose about 20 yards and slightly right. If you close your clubs, don't by these irons. You will not enjoy them at all. But I really think the Title Players Distance fits these clubs. The are accurate and forgiving. I can see myself using these for about 10 years and changing only for technology reasons.
