Great Update From My 40 Year Old Tommy Armour Irons!
These irons have added a minimum of 20 yards to each club. The choice of shafts allow the clubs to match my swing speed. I highly recommend you have a pro match the appropriate shaft option for your swing speed. Great clubs!

Great Value
I saw these on display with regular flex shafts and I told the sales person I wanted these if only they had them with senior flex shafts. They told me to hang on and out from the back they came with exactly what I wanted. They were a great value as they were on sale.

Best Deal
I hit 4 different sets of irons and the 845+ were just as good, plus I got the 4,5 hybrid. The other sets were almost twice as much money. Best deal out there! JC

Bought for my husband and 1.5 years later, already falling apart. He has taken care of them, and plays casually. Very disappointing.

Ok But Not Great
Irons are fine, feel good but a little heavier than previous irons I had. Hybrids are a disappointment. Not as much energy and more fade/sidespin than existing Calloway hybrids. But still getting used to them; may improve over time. Cons listed below are for hybrids, not irons.

New Ta 845 Irons
I tested most of the popular brands of irons at Dicks and spent time in the simulator range. I was initially sold on the TM SIM2. I then tested the new TA 845 irons and was hitting them consistently straight and about another 20 yards more than the SIM2. I played my first round with them yesterday and I am very pleased with how forgiving they are, feel very solid on ball contact, and distance. I was previously told TA quality and technology is equal to the popular brands but since they do not advertise the TA brand, they are able to keep cost lower. I purchased the TA driver and 3 wood last year after testing the popular brands and became a believer in the product having the same experience with accuracy and distance. If you are going to write a product review, write it about the product not your experience with what you thought was in the box.
