Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great irons I bought 2 weeks ago , I played 4 rounds , they are very easy to get airborne, flight is medium high , I played standard irons before getting these , I’m very pleased with them , still trying to get distance dialed in , I find them one club longer than previous, they are game improvement irons but don’t look that much like other game improvement I have tested , I would recommend these to anyone, from high handicap to low , they’re not the best looking but who cares , I have shaved strokes with this set , I’m a 15 handicap and think I will get to 10 shortly

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Most Underrated Clubs Ever Had a set of Taylormade M2 ( were stolen just before Christmas). I bought these irons 3 weeks ago. I had never heard of Tommy Armour prior to testing these clubs at Dick's Sporting Goods. They play longer and more forgiving than my M2 set. I absolutely love these clubs. And for the price, there is absolutely no reason to spend at least $500 more for clubs that aren't as good, but have a more recognizable name.

Par 3 down hill 165 to the hole. With my old irons which cost 4 time more than these I hit 5 iron,(70) years old.. With these (ready) 7 iron... Ps I have played my home course over 50 years I know where the balls is going. These baby will fly, Have fun and PLAY.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great feel Bought these clubs a month ago for 249.00 as I had been looking at them for a few months when they were 599.00....I hadn’t played golf in probably 10 years so this year I bought a set of TopFlite to see if I would enjoy the game again, of course I did....the upgrade to the TA1’s is amazing, hitting my clubs about 15 yards farther than the TopFlites and much more consistent....7 iron with the TA1’s goes about 183 counting roll out for me now....I used to battle a fade, which is now more of a draw, or straight ball flight....they feel great when you catch it nice and the ball jumps off the face nicely...loved the irons so much that I went and got the driver and matching 3 wood on sale, both clubs for 199.00....very happy with my purchase and can’t wait to hit them again

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Pleasant surprise Just got these irons today and I went out and played a quick round. Just like the Demo 7 , the rest of the irons have a nice straight to a slight draw ball flight. The balls jump off the face. Nice construction.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Straight, high and long I am an 8 handicap player, bought these a couple weeks ago and have played a few rounds with them. They are by far the straightest irons I’ve ever hit. I have a natural draw and have a tendency to come over the top and pull the ball, not with these clubs. I am hitting straighter, higher and longer shots with these clubs. I’ve tried clubs costing twice as much and these are better than those. If you are more interested in name than performance, these may not be for you. I prefer performance over name recognition and these hit beautifully.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great irons- must try I received my irons about a month ago. I have now played several rounds. I am two weeks into my league and have shot my lowest ever score in league, two weeks in a row. I am hitting more greens now then ever. I have KBS Tour in stiff. Distance is good and I am loving the ball flight. I think the biggest surprise is how much I like the loft progression in the set. I am very happy with my gaping. Best iron I have played in a long time. Slight draw, plenty of height and stopping power. For most parts they want to go dead straight but I can easily work them left and right if I desire. They have all the features of game improvement iron but with manageable offset and size. Everything I was looking for. I have not experienced any odd long shots and they are very hard for me to miss left.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Only played they 9 holes but wow! I just got these clubs in yesterday and had to take them out last night for 9 holes. It has rained a lot in my area so the conditions were not ideal but wow. I won't lie to you and tell you that every shot was perfect because well I am an 18 handicap and that doesn't happen. What I can tell you is that the ball flight was high and perfect on my good shots. The great thing though was that my misses were still playable and not far off line. These are by far the lowest cost irons I have owned in years but hit just as good or better then my $1800 set. I am seeing a little inconsistency right now with my distances. I hit two shots over the greens (not thin) with clubs that should have been the right distance....not that any guy complains about more distance, but I still need to figure what my averages are with these irons. I love the look when you look down at these irons. I struggle when the offset is too much and it is hard to figure out when the club is open or closed. The offset on these is perfect and I had no issues with club face alignment. The top line of the clubs is thin but the weight of the clubs lets you know you can hit the distance you need to hit.
