Great Pitching Wedge For Beginners
This is a great, inexpensive club for beginners. I haven't played golf in probably 30 years and I'm amazed at how much clubs have evolved. This on is lightweight and feels nice in my hands. The best part is that it was really inexpensive compared to other clubs in the store. So far I've only used it with the net, but I'm very happy with it so far.

While visiting my cousin in VA, I purchased this wedge because I purposely left my clubs in TX so that I wouldn’t be tempted to play a full round as I was recovering from rotator cuff surgery. The wedge, while not being a “top of the line” club, was good enough for what I needed it for. It helped me literally get back into the swing of things!

Needs A New Grip
So I think the wedge will ultimately work, but I’m going to have it regripped ASAP. Feels like the current grip adds about 1 mm of thickness to the shaft. I don’t love massive grips, but this one’s too small for me.

Great Starter Wedge
I bought the 52° and the 60° wedge from top flite. They're both very forgiving and the milled faces on them are so easy to get spin on the ball for those precise approaches. I've only been golfing for 3 months but I would definitely recommend them to anyone starting out.
