Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Ball for the Average Golfer Over the past year I have played the TF D2. This ball is a very good ball that fits my game. I have a 16 to 20 handicap. For the past 15 years I was playing the ProV1 thinking it would improve my game, I was fooled. I found the TF D2 plays as good as the ProV1. I can hit it further by 10 yards, it goes straighter and when I lose one it does not feel like I have lost a $5 bill. The play around the green in basically the same except maybe the TF is a little harder to stop and will not spin as much. Now if you are a 10 HC or below the ProV1 is probable your ball. If you are a 16 HC or above do not waste your money play the Top Flight D2 or D1. The cost of the TF D2 is about 67 cents a ball (45 balls for $30) vs the cost of the ProV1 is $5 for ball ((12 balls for $60) you figure it out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Soft and great distance I bought these for my grandson because of price. I gave them a try last year and these are great! Great distance and good spin around the green. They feel soft , the coating is very slick, I have to remark the ball with my sharpie pen after the round because the coating is very smooth and it wears off quickly. I don't mind that since the ball plays so well and the price is very reasonable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best golf ball for slice I have been using this golf ball for years and keep coming back to it. Is the best golf ball that advertises being "straight" and it is the best at minimizing a slice. It also has good distance and good feel around the green. Price is great too. I like these better than the more expensive Bridgestone "straight" golf balls.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Exactly what I ordered I was looking for balls to use that I am not afraid to lose as I am just ramping up again after years off. I am pretty inconsistent, so anything that helps me hit ball where I want is a plus. I like Top Flite, and was surprised at the price for these balls. While I am not sure how much straighter they are, they feel pretty true to hit, unlike some of the other straight or soft designated balls, and I haven't lost any yet, so maybe they are working.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent balls, excellent price I'm a mediocre golfer and have hit balls from the top to the bottom end as far as price. These seem to have the most consistent trajectory for me and they come at a great price. The only downside is that they don't jump in the hole by themselves if I'm close:)

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Excellent ball for the price Was leary because the balls were drastically reduced from an already more than reasonable price. They have proven to be very durable with little or no sacrifice of distance from the much more expensive ball I previously played.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good ball price almost too good. Bought these on sale 3 packs for $30 plus had other things I ordered so shipping was free. I have played prvious generation of these top flite straight balls a d they do help on some shots to keep your shots straight. Don't expect miricles but they do help. Feel and distance are good for my skill level. I recommend these golf balls to those looking for a quality ball for a very reasonable price. Hard to find anything close to these Top Flite Straight balls out there.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quest for quality, affordable ball? Top Flite Scores! 4.5 Stars These Top Flite D-2 Straight Balls are nothing like the old "Top Rocks". When well struck, they feel solid and provide feedback, and definitely not like hitting a "rock" like the old Top Flites. As a lifelong "slicer", I found the "Straight" label to be applicable. My fade was still there, but not the pronounced "horseshoe" effect I have with other balls. Didn't slice one out of play in a full round today. Also on the plus side, I hit a couple of drives at least ten yards further than I've hit on the same holes previously. And I hit a couple long approach shots that stopped right next to their ball marks. It rained last night so the greens were soft, but these balls have a good feel when hit properly, and held the green. They had good feel when putting, as well. Some "soft" balls have better feel when putting, but these were fine. As a bogey golfer, I have no need to pay three or four times as much for a super premium ball. I've been doing my own "consumer test" of all the less expensive balls, and so far, these are my favorites. Before I commit to the Top Flite D2 "Straight", next I want to try the Top Flite "Feel" and see if they combine the great features of the "Straights" with a softer "Feel". But for now, I give these 4.5 stars.
